this was my mission statement last year:

i guess its time to review my mission/vision/goals in life. only 11 more months to go, before i know it, a year has passed and the question remain:

what is my purpose in life?

RAD Tools

kanina lang nag pop sakin si uma asking if ive heard of ASPRunner. sabi ko honestly i havent heard of such tool. so i googled it, read product info, visited forums and searched reviews and feedback. in the end, i told him this tool is useful for beginners and besides the .net version is still in BETA. i'm kinda bias with vs.net so cannot support his reco. though it has a free 21day trial version, budget-wise i cannot recommend this product to my boss. its just not worth it.

it got me thinking, there really are a lot of people opting for shortcuts, but isn't the hard way sometimes worth the effort and learnings you can get from it? maybe i'm just getting too old and traditional :p

i forgot to blog what garry gave to me for christmas and also what will be my early birthday gift :)



akala ko sya ang maga-upgrade ng unit.. un pala ako ang bibilhan nya.. no wonder he's so eager to buy na, ung pala.. hmpf.. loko un ah, kung alam ko lang e di sana mas high-end ang pinili ko .. jowk! ;p

aga ko sa opis, wala pa mga teammates ko .. nakakaantok tuloy. glad to know tanggap na si bro sa bagong work nya with a very competitive salary. pero sabi nga nila much is given, much is expected. kaya ako.. tama na ko sa 5% :D

as always, scheduled are plotted at nade-delay. supposedly, my database should have been established by end of december, however dahil super multi-tasking ako, naco-compromise ang ibang tasks. buti reasonable ang boss ko and he's very much supportive and hands-off pa naman. no breathing on my neck so far.

wala masyadong home improvements last quarter. nothing much has changed sa bahay. though nagde-depreciate na ang mga throw pillows ko kasi nde ko na-aalagaan. ang banyo nde pa napi-pinturahan ulit. wala pa rin kaming corniza at cabinets. ang driveway, bakante pa rin (kasama ba to hehe).

soon, pag naplot na ulit ang budget, baka maayos na rin.

feeling domesticated

kagabi habang naghahapunan, kinuwento ng asawa ko.

officemate: sino nagpa-plancha ng barong mo?
hubby: asawa ko.
officemate: hindi nga?
hubby: oo nga.
officemate: galing ah, tuwid na tuwid.

akala nya, babatiin ng officemate nya ung barong nya luma na kasi hihi.. syempre sabi ko sa knya, "proud ka ba sakin?" hehe sabi nya "oo naman".

buti na lang i was able to borrow a belly belt from vanj, magagamit ko sya sa ibang pants ko :) nakatipid na naman kami ng P1K!

may invitation sa mga mommies and moms-to-be sa saturday from a breastfeeding support group lead by la leche league. nagsign-up kami kasi i have so many questions on breastfeeding. i've talked to a neighbor who used medela pump instyle and said ok naman daw pero mejo super sophisticated at madami magpump so she used pigeon instead. will still ask around. usually i ask preggy n@wies if they'll breastfeed and common reply would be, "may lalabas ba?!" which made me think.. hmm.. pero i guess, i'll be optimistic muna about it, malay mo mind over matter lang yan.

pump it up

been doing some research on breastfeeding. personally would go for breastfeeding coz cow's milk are meant for calves not human babies.

pero pano mo to gagawin kung papasok ka na ulit after two months? haay... hirap!
