Poinsettias

Originally uploaded by kitakitts

I was feeling kind of under the weather since last night and decided to stay at home for today. I may have to look at various solutions and maybe research on document scanning services for next year. At any rate, I'll deal with that when I'm at work.

Anyways, we bought these lovely cream poinsettias as gift for some of our friends. Flowers are quick mood uppers for some (and I guess we ran out of ideas LOL). However, I remember this chick flick where a guy gave his date flowers. With shocking factor, the lady asked him, "Why would you give me a plant's vajayjay?"

Bad joke. Bad mood, bad brain. Sorry :D

. . . .
It took a ton amount of self-control not to check us in this hotel.

Instead, we bought P200 worth of arcade tokens. I did three rounds of beating the hell out of the drums.

The little girl exchanged her tickets for Hello Kitty key chain, a ruler and some hair clips.

We bumped into Santa and his metallic elf.

It was so sweet of Santa to give the little girl a chocolate treat. With this, Dani realizes she really has been a good girl after all.

The little girl can't go horse backriding because of the weather. She's ok with the quaint aviary Bag of Beans has to offer. Too bad, the myna wasn't his talkative self that day.

Had I known our bill will reach P1K, I would've chosen to be sitted in one of those comfy cabanas.
O+K=OK
They now have a policy that cabanas are rented out for P1K, consumable, of course. I wonder if O knows this.

While eating, a group of orphans entertained us with their rendition of various holiday songs.

Couple of times I've been here, they reshuffle areas here and there. Still there are lots of photo ops for us :) Restrooms are nothing fancy like danze fixtures or anything but has ample water supply and are clean.
My only gripe is the texture of the Fish and Chips which should be like this:
Bag of Beans
We'll be back soon. Hopefully, the myna will be talking to us by then :D

Santa Claus is Coming to Town

Santa is Coming to Town 2010
Girls in kinder class were asked to wear red dress. And since teacher specified dress and she doesn't have one in red, I bought a new one on sale :D I kinda wish I bought new shoes though but we get by with her white sandals anyway :)

Santa is Coming to Town 2010

A, her current bff. She's inglisera also that's why they jive.

Teacher Y was quite accommodating when I asked for a group photo.

Santa is Coming to Town 2010
The priest called in sick, no mass. Teacher had to keep them busy while waiting for the program to start. They were singing, "What is the weather today?". There has been a drizzle outside, hence it's rainy day.

Santa is Coming to Town 2010
E doesn't want to stand up, must be sulking as to why the little girl is holding C's hand instead of his? LOL

Santa is Coming to Town 2010
It's the same song they performed last year though with varied steps. I wish next year they'll be more creative. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it a lot. The little girl came to me and gave me a kiss. I guess that's my reward for watching her :D

Christmas 2010

Filed a leave and made sure to attend Dani's school christmas party. While waiting for the program, I got to chat a bit with some of the parents. Their words filled my heart as they complimented our work on the brown paper bags. One even said she almost doesn't want to rip them open :D

Yesterday was a local holiday and I get to upload photos, finally! Sad though that the little girl has an upset stomach for days now. Little Miss Sunshine is still perky despite feeling ill. Usually I watch tv with her but yesterday I asked her if I can watch a movie in the laptop. Recently, She's been favoring Baby First over Playhouse Disney channel and I just find it a little too boring. She snapped out of her transfixed state and told me, "Mommy, let's play na lang. Diba playing is exercise also."

And so we hopped of the bed and enjoyed the cold breeze outside.

How thoroughly do you brush your kids' teeth? Ever so slowly I count from one to ten for three times and scrub the tongue and we're done. We do it at least twice a day.

Last time I brushed Dani's teeth, I saw some black lines on her upper left molar. I told the husband we'd better have the dentist look at it. It would've been nice to see my tita who takes care of our teeth but her house clinic is just too far.

On we went to SM Dasma, the first clinic we inquired has a by appointment only policy. Moved on to another and the doctor is in. She's quite accommodating actually and was friendly to Dani. She suggested we have dani's 5 molars covered with sealant to prevent them from suffering the same fate with her left upper molar, which now needs to be treated. She patiently explains to dani the devices and process so she will be less scared :)

The little girl kept on giving us the thumbs up, how brave. Ironic that she's more concerned about comforting her nervous parents. It took us no longer than 30mins and we're back at the front desk with hubby settling the bill. Total damage: P1250. P300 for the cleaning and P650 for the filling.

Since I don't have a camera with me, just took shots of her teeth at home.

Ottoke?! Maybe a short early vacation of some sort right?! Shh.. someone's watching haha Anyways, I know the drill for a healthier me with glowing radiant skin. Eat right, take fluids, rest well, exercise, visit your derma. Can I just do the first three? LOL.

For years, Tekeng and I have a love-hate relationship with various weight loss supplements. Most did not work but some did. For awhile. We'd run and put ourselves on a special diet and take those magic pills. A couple of pounds lighter, our efforts will pay off. Until, we discover something that will ruin everything! *drama* In the end, it's goes down to self discipline.

How can you control yourself from devouring something simply delish like these?!? True to word they are less greasy than your usual fried chicken. However, it must've been quite some time since I've had one that with every bite of crispy wing skin, I can still feel and taste the oil in my mouth. It won't stop me from going back though haha

I probably wont be able to resist grabbing an upgrade for my mobile phone. I know you know what I want :D Anyways, majority of stuffs in my wish list aren't that expensive for my benefactor to wait for it to be on sale:
