Dani: Playtime

Dani: Playtime

yey, I managed to scrap :D Photos were taken last saturday when we paid a visit to the playground to get messy with sand :D

Nga pala, we managed to visit two schools we were planning for Dani to study come enrollment. Hesitantly, we dropped by St. Paul's College inside Caribe, Dasma. No Admission/Guidance staff as it was late in the afternoon already. Manong guard was kind enough to give us a leaflet listing requirements for prospective enrollees. I like the school, it doesn't look too big or scary. The thing is, according to their leaflet, they require nursery students to be at least 4 years old. Would have to clarify though and will call them soon.

Next stop was St. Peter, a few miles away. This time, hubby was the only one who stepped out of the car. A few minutes later, he came back with a flyer similarly stating the requirements for admission. This time, they allow 3 year-old toddler for Nursery. I heard that they have digicams (not the hidden spy camera kind) installed in classrooms to monitor activities.

Planning to give them a call this week and set schedule for Dani's assessment. Wish us luck!

Last Saturday, we set up Dani's small pool for her and L to enjoy. Remember I was looking for swimming lessons for the little girl? Someone's offering 12 sessions for only P2.5k. Not sure what's the size of the class but lessons are held either in Phase 1 pool or our clubhouse's pool (which is nearer to our house) :D We have morning schedule every Tues, Thurs and Saturdays, which hubby and I will make sure we wont miss. Starts on Apr 14, contemplating on moving my leaves so I can attend the first three sessions. I'm sure my memory cards will be filled with photos in no time :D

What have I been doing lately

Sleeping early and finishing The Neverending Story, explains the lack of updates here. I've been trying to spend more time with the little imp and less time online. Saturday mornings are spent at thjavascript:void(0)e playground, photos are uploaded in flickr.

I have tasks from the sheriff to finish, I'd better since we have lots of expenses coming up. No European cruises, just home stuffs though.

Burning some moolah

We went out yesterday to checkout the 3day sale at a famous mall chain nearby. As usual, there were lots of buyers taking advantage of the discounts on various stores. We bought a 5pcs cooking ware at 20% discount, yey! We were thinking about upgrading our tube, took note of the price and moved on for future budget consideration. Its not easy to resist the less 7K or the 0% 12mos installment plan, my grip was ever tight on my card. Not much home theater furniture though, but some nice sala set priced at 12K or so. Almost pleading, I ask hubby if I could buy some pretty curtains I saw on sale, hubby gave a no go. Well, there's always next time.

After calling O at her place for the Nth time, finally spoke to her to finalize our date friday night. Took the day off as I was expecting to spend it with her up in Tagaytay of something. I was all set and ready as early as 7am. I was hoping to leave the house before dani wakes up. Turns out she hadn't had sleep yet so we'll just meet around 6ish later and opted to visit a comedy bar instead. Despite planning an overnight, I've no luggage in tow and left the house with Dani crying behind me.

Upon seeing me, she enthusiastically shoved me a wrapped box containing this beautiful capiz hanging light. She asked me if I wanted to have a massage first and so off we went to a spa near her place. We were pressed for time so we didnt push thru with watching a movie. I enjoyed the massage and so off we went to Sitcom Comedy Bar. We had pizza and virgin drinks, soon we were laughing already. Their pizza sauce was too sweet for me but the crust and ingredients was better than greenwich's. I tried their mocha mint cocktail, too sweet not enough "mocha" and tasted like cough syrup, which I think was due to too much mint syrup added.

I want to swim!

Sabi kasi ng tita ko dati, para daw akong itik na mahilig maglandi ng tubig. Nadatnan na lang daw nya ako minsang tuwang tuwa at basa habang nagtatampisaw saking ihi hehe

Anyways, sunday, Dani hadnt had her afternoon nap yet, so imagine her tactically not requesting for her dede (as she needs to lie down and she might fall asleep while finishing her dede) so she made do with crackers, raisins and even asked for a peanut sandwhich except her dede. What we did was we took off her bathing suit, she's too sleepy to protest, loudly cried nonetheless, and sent her home. Minutes later, she fell asleep.

First thing she said when she woke up, her eyes barely open:

I want to swim!

Contemplating on enrolling her in a swimming class for the summer. Sana meron akong makitang malapit. I'll have to check their safety equipment though so better kung mismo dito samin though I know mas mahal unless may kasabay sya. I'm thinking din if I should buy the swim board I saw yesterday. First things first though, kelangan ko nang bumili ulit ng sunblock!

Summer is here!

I've always wanted a swimming party for this year. Initially I planned a treat for all of us at ACE Water Spa but settled for the clubhouse's pool instead.

Galing ako sa puyatan from my nightout saturday morning with O which serves another post :D Hubby did the groceries friday before heading home, just emailed him the list. Naka-leave na nga pala ko friday pa lang until monday. Sabi nga ng boss ko, ang haba naman daw ng birthday ko :D

Anyways, morning pa lang after going to the market with hubby, I did the pasta already. We didn't cook much as we made use of the grill for fish and marinated meat :) Mom made a mildy spicy green mango salad, a new secret recipe great for things fried and bbqued :)

My parents came in a little earlier than expected, my titos and titas tagged along as they all came straight from Batangas. They just let me be and hang out as I finish the rest of my handa. Noon time, we went to the pool already. There wasn't much left of Dani's sunblock so I used most of it on her. Kaw ba naman magswimming tangaling tapat :D Ate glenn offered to watch her while we eat first :)

Though SIL and Bro didn't get to swim that day, everyone went home tired and happy :) Sabi nga ni ate keng, if she had known I don't have cake she would've gotten me one. I don't mind, just spending my day with my loved ones is enough for me.

Later that night, we decided to go to Nova and visit my IL's. Turns out, they bought me a cake! :D Come to think of it, wala pala kaming pictures with them, hay naku. Anyways, we went home Monday afternoon na, nakarating kami as if pumasok kami sa work.

Ano pa ba ang masasabi ko kung di, happy talaga ang birthday ko! :D
