sa sobrang kaantukan ko nung isang araw, pagsampa ko sa van.. *bump* bukel ang abot ko.

two of my senior teammates decided to call it quits with our company. another bump in the head .. *sigh*

woke up and realized, i needed money. finally done with my last turnover item with my previous company. back to round 1.

hang hinet
grabe naman talaga ang tagaktak ng pawis ko netong weekend. sarap magswimming, wala naman akong makasama.. haay..
saturday:
tekeng was supposed to spend the night with us after attending her bestfriend's wedding in tagaytay. however, since finals na nga, she has to go straight home ang prepare for her monday exams.
i received a text from olgs friday night confirming our plans for today. sadly i left my fone at home and wasn't able to reply to her until later that evening. i was esctatic to read a message from her confirming that her brother will drive her and mami jessie to our place around after lunch. and so i prepared my fettuccini pasta and bacon&mushroom red sauce while gary whipped up an instant fruit salad :) by the time they arrived, it was already past 4pm. Immediately after miryenda, gave them a tour of village's model houses, took some of their pics which hopefully i'll post here tomorrow :)
they weren't able to eat dinner with us for it has been a long day for them. olgs was only able to wink for an hour before leaving their house, so she really must be tired. it was a short but heartful meeting, really great to see them again. i hope next time, the rest of the gang can make it. tis been more than a year since we last saw each other.

An Unfinished Life - drama starring JLo, Robert Redford and Morgan Freeman

typical weekend
friday:
celebrated our boss' bday thru dinner/inuman sa gerry's-insular. we got off by 8pm kasi nga hirap umuwi lately, strike pa rin isang bus line samin. the rest namn still enjoyed whats left of the pulutan and beer. syempre, garry and i drowned ourselves with iced tea and lemonade instead :) wasn't able to do our groceries kasi nga late na. good thing we saw our neighbor and tagged along with her. sakay kami binan and from there sinundo na kami ng hubby nya. we were able to meet her 5yo daughter, kyla. kinda talkative and bibo. will my bebe turn out be like her.. hmm..
saturday:
ate baby was early as usual. cooked pancakes for breakfast. had a long chat with olgs over the fone (to which i hope would lead us to finally meet before the year ends). finished "edison" before lunch and had pork adobo with egg afterwards. watched "Memoirs of a Geisha" while garry went out to play basketball. made maling sandwich for mirienda with tostillas and vcut on the side (bad!). watched some more tv, had fried bangus and tirang adobo for dinner.
sunday:
opened the mall by 10am. garry had a haircut, i excitedly bought "what to expecting the first year" on sale for P350 only to find out that booksale has it in a better condition for only P290 *sigh* talk about impulsive buying. short stop at the grocery and had lunch at shakeys. supreme platter for him and pizza, salad n' chicken for me. persistent that i cannot go home without having my fill of chowking's two scoop fiesta halo-halo, gary gave in and shared it with me. on the way home, i felt my stomach badly churning. i have to get home soon or else i might poop in my pants (to which later i did but just a teensy weensy drop, so embarrassing really). after much teasing from my hubby, stuffs all settled, with dinner marinated already, we watched "just like heaven" to which i cried endlessly (blame it on my hormones).
after much ado about setting up the grill (authentic uling style), garry cooked the marinated lumot and yes, i have to fry the eggplant, turns out black and dry when i tried to grill it, butter wont help either so i had no choice. pop question: what reel is best to watch after such fill... "brokeback mountain" *lol* garry tried not to puke when he saw two cowboys raping each other ;)
in summary, ate did our laundry, we had our groceries, garry played basketball, watched dvds and bummed around the house. a typical weekend indeed.
