Cash Advance

Payday loans is a good alternative when in need of emergency cash rather than issuing bouncing checks or pawning the vintage ring your grandmother gave you as an heirloom.

There are several cash advance marketing sites online you can choose from. They have different loan approval criteria that will best suit your current financial status, maximizing your chances of getting your loan approved.

Some of the lenders offer their clients an option of “rolling over” a loan to the next payday if necessary, for a certain fee of course. As all financial obligations, when used and paid properly it can effectively solve short-term cash needs.

Palawan Day 1 – Getting there

We woke up by 2AM since Dani, as usual, woke up ahead of our alarm. I guess she’s sensing that we’re about to leave in a few hours. Our flight was scheduled to leave by 8:35AM. we’ve estimated that we should be at the airport an hour earlier meaning we’ll have to leave Nova by 5AM. Funny, Dani fell asleep by 4AM, while still munching on a hotdog. Hubby was debating with himself as to whether before we leave, will he kiss our little girl or not, afraid to wake her up again. Despite trying to be quiet, she stirred and called out to her dadi, hehe nakaramdam talaga. She cried a bit when we said our goodbyes and so we left na.

At the airport, we thought we’d be the first ones to arrived knowing the track record of our friends when it comes to promptness. They proved us wrong, excited talaga at ayaw maiwan ng plane hehe. It was my first time inside our domestic airport so may kaba onti. I hate kasi looking like tanga not knowing where to go or what to do next hehe pero I survived, mabilis lang naman kami nakapasok. We just have one luggage bag, which we checked in, a backpack and our camera bag which we decided to hand carry na lang. We paid the terminal fee of P200 per person and waited and waited and waited.

We decided to pass time with coffee and donuts. Soon after our plane arrived, mind you on time, we immediately boarded as scheduled. Aboard the plane, I thought I heard the stewardess offer a chicken banana and figured it must be a sandwich, yun pala chicken empanada. Finally we arrived at Puerto Princesa Airport ten minutes ahead of time. Yey for CEB, so far so good.

We were able to retrieve our luggage easily and proceeded to find the van included in our package with Liberty Pension Park. I think they’ve underestimated our group, may kasabay pa kaming iba so siksikan kami. I had to sit on hubby’s lap to give seat to others. I was kidding around that this is a prelude to our honeymoon later hehe Luckily the hotel was only 10 minutes away.

For the Young at Heart

I belive that senior singles, whether previously married or never really did get to marry during their younger years have all the right to find and seek love despite their age.

Now I don’t think our elders have that much time nor energy to do a lot of dating. So I guess, the concept of having an online dating site for seniors is a great idea. This site offers quick search based on the usual parameters, gender, age, location and some advance preferences to narrow down results.

I also found out that although the senior dating site mainly caters to seniors, it is also open for interested members ages 18 and above.

Valentines in October

Hubby and I didn't break up for the five years, not even once when we were together as girlfriend-boyfriend. Sure there are times when I thought that I just couldn't take anymore of his crap call it quits. However, once we’ve taken our space, sort out things and in the end we still end up together.

Three years of marriage, that must not mean much to you but for both us it’s something. I always consider October as our month of hearts, a time when we celebrate the moment we found each other and committed to be together forever. Some say, forever is a long time. We really couldn’t tell if we’ll last that long. Still, I’d like to believe that we can.

My Desktop at Work

Ok here is my very boring desktop at work. Not much personalization i can do here since we have to abide by company's standards. anyways, i have a 1152x864 screen resolution which most of my officemates find too small. as you can see I try to minimize my desktop icons and shortcuts coz i read somewhere that it eats away some precious memory from my unit. mostly i have notepad files containing stuffs i copy and paste from the net or local mail or sql scripts. filenames are quite descriptive so one can easily guess the contents (go figure blah, crap and dump.txt hehe)

Note: Start Copy Here!My Desktop Free View Instruction:
A. Upon receiving this tag, immediately perform a screen capture of your desktop. It is best that no icons be deleted before the screen capture so as to add to the element of fun.
You can do a screen capture by:
1. Going to your desktop and pressing the Print Scrn key (located on the right side of the F12 key).
2. Open a graphics program (like Picture Manager, Paint, or Photoshop) and do a Paste (CTRL + V).
3. If you wish, you can "edit" the image, before saving it.
B. Post the picture in your blog. You can also give a short explanation on the look of your desktop just below it if you want. You can explain why you preferred such look or why is it full of icons. Things like that.
C. Tag five of your friends and ask them to give you a Free View of their desktop as well.
D. Add your name to this list of Free Viewers with a link pointing directly to your Desktop Free View post to promote it to succeeding participants.

An award and a long speech

Toni says:

“Kitts is one the bloggers whom I haven’t seen yet, but I enjoyed chatting with her and eventually became a friend. I love visiting her blog and I can sometimes relate to her posts. Some of them may be short but worth reading. And I also love her scrap book layouts, with or without her adorable daughter, Dani.”

According to the rules, the Nice Matters Award goes out to:

“Those who are just nice people, good blog friends, and those who inspire good feelings and inspiration! Those who care about others, who are there to lend support, or those who are just a positive influence in our blogging world.”

Here are my awardees:

Mhay of In love for life
She inspires me to be a better mother, wife and christian. Somehow even if I don't know her personally, knowing that our daughters are of the same age helps me relate to her. Everyday I check out her blog to see how she's coping as she temporarily raises Jaden on her own.

Wives of Wifespeaks:
It's like a virual conscience, online therapist or simply a kumare for a wifey like me. Personal opinions on topics ranging from trivial stuffs to serious ones opens my mind and see things in a different light. I admire their honesty and courage to state their case on various matters.

And now for my speech:
I'd like to thank Toni for including me in her list of awardees. I really have been seeing alot of awards being given around lately and well, I do sometimes wonder if I'll ever get one soon. I know some may think that all of this is just a formality in acknowledging each other's presence in the blogosphere but it really is a great feeling to receive such and know that you are appreciated.

I'd like to thank my hubby for giving me his full support on my online blogging knowing fully that there maybe a possibility of me revealing his secrets in attempt to blackmail him one of these days. (Of course, I'm just kidding here)

To my adorable daughter, Dani, I love you so much. I'll update your blog more so your online friends may too give you an award someday.

To my parents, i know you read my blog because you want to make usyoso about things in my marriage that I may not be telling you about hehe Nosy as you are, I'm lucky to have you guys around.

To my inlaws, who doesn't know about this blog, thanks for adopting me so easily.

To my siblings, bardino, erwino and vera, let's plan a family outing next year, missing you all.

To my boss, who likewise doesn't know about his blog, i owe you one for not cutting my internet access at work.

*cue orchestra*

Time's up, thank you and good night!

Finding Nemo

When one says Sydney, I imagine Nemo trapped inside an aquarium while his father Marlin searches for him. When Dory and Marlin was asking a pool of fish the directions to Sydney, the main landmark would be the Sydney Opera House.

Now if I were Nemo and Marlin, after being reunited with each other, since we’re already in Australia might as well take a trip to Brisbane, right? I’ve read that Brisbane Botanic Gardens are open everyday of the year from 8am to 5pm and totally a freebie, no entrance fees.

And since I am a cityscape fan, I wouldn’t miss a night cap from the Observation Deck at Rialto Tower.

It would be great to book one of Sydney Hotels, Melbourne Hotels and Brisbane Hotels to be able to visit these must-see tourist sites. Cheaperthanhotels Australia offers last minute and year round accommodation at prices usually far less than direct pricing with hotels. Offers often include free extras , such as breakfast, free meal and use of amenities.

Good morning, starshine!

The sun is up, it's a new day, a new week. I'll try to start this one right, with a smile :) I hope you guys will help me on this one and be infected of the happy virus i'm sending your way :D

* * *

From aggies's blog, she shared a very interesting article on bringing courtship back to marriage. I have to read it right? sounds like there's a solution there i may not be aware of. After much thought, it just reminds me that we (hubby and i) should find new stuffs to learn and enjoy together. that there's no better time to do the work as in NOW. i say, i'll just try to kiss my husband more often (like later when we see each other afterwork) and start from there :D it's the little things that count, dba? :D

Secure your mail

My bestfriend Julie just recently moved in to their newly acquired beautiful home. I asked her if she has one of those cbu mailboxes that comes with secured locking mechanism. However, she might not need one in the meantime. She’ll see first since their village seemed secured as of the moment.

Gossip and Carpools

You'll never know things people gossip about you. Like, one thinks she shared with you a very personal info (eg sex life) trusting you'll keep it to yourself but then your tongue got the better of you and shared it to someone else just to pass time in traffic.

Really, it got me thinking, whatever else stuffs will she share whenever there's not much to say. I'll break it down with you :D

L, S and I share carpools when available. L told me that S confided in her that S's husband, in the aftermath of their once in a blue moon act of procreation, thanked her, as in with matching "Thank you."

I honestly didn't know how to react. Apparently, she finds it weird and funny and figured i'll share a laugh with her but I didn't. I just told her in a matter-of-factly tone, it happens. Sometimes, men are confused as to what to say afterwards. Would you rather he just turn his back and immediately fall asleep?

Anyways, i wasn't irked about her opinion on the matter but on her deciding to share with me something she should've kept to herself. I don't really know S that much but i'll see her around and I don't want an image of her and his husband naked in bed saying "thank you" flashing in my mind when I do.

(yes, i'm a very visual person)

Getting softer

i wish i'm talking about my skin but no, i'm talking about my heart. i'm getting softer by the day. i mean, even before i am a cry baby whenever watching sappy movies but motherhood has this effect on me. either i can relate or scared or hopeful that such things will happen to my family.

anyways, i watched the movie: in the land of women last night and i swear my eyes swelled. there's this scene where sofia (meg ryan) told carter that she has to go inside now because her daughter might give her the look that says she's the most embarrassing person in the world. she hates that look coz prolly she gave the same look to her mother. i guess with all the drama my mother and i had during my teenage years, i can so relate :D it made me wonder how my relationship with dani will turn out. i sure as hell will try to make it better though and be there for her as much as i can.

it really is true that parents, even though they are not always right, are only looking out for our best interest. i appreciate my parents more now that i myself am a parent.

Jewish Love

i would like to believe that singles nowadays have a more specific idea of their ideal partner they'd like to spend their lives with. on top of that, there are congregations which prefer their members to date within their community making you options more limited. Some jewish singles, in their search for a partner go through jewish personals hoping to find a potential match such as JLove.

As I have read from other reviews, they provide great customer support, which I think is a real plus. There are already a lot of dating sites online and having someone to answer your queries immediately provides an edge over the rest.

Whether you're a jew or not and would like to try jewish dating then you may want to try signing up for free just to test the waters. However, you may have to wait awhile since their site is currently undergoing maintenance.

I would have said oscars or emmy's but maybe sundance or mtv, more casual and fun IMHO

Anything Goes: What are you thankful you're not doing right now?
fixing program bugs :)

No-Brainers: What is your favorite kind of candy?
anything that has chocolates in it :)

Personals: Who is the most famous person you have ever met?
Tito Vic and Joey ;p

The difference

Here's a funny quote I heard from the radio awhile ago.

(From a man's point of view)

A man wakes up as handsome as he was last night. Meanwhile a woman deteriorates overnight.

Hence, cayote ugly :D

Home Improvement

Do you have any idea on how to improve your home, areas like the doors, conservatories, driveways or even your windows??? How to get in touch with professionals that will provide high quality materials? Who will understand your needs and will make your home improvement perfectly for you?

Now, this is really exciting because I found out about this site who offers a wide variety of equipments for your home improvement. With the combination of security, elegance and advanced high quality equipment, Anglian Home Improvement is just a click away. You will be introduced to different types of windows of your choice. They have the so-called Casement, Tilt and Turn and Sash. And best of all they will even explain some of the benefits you will gain and will help you decide on what kind of window you would want. Personally, I like big windows so I would go for the casement type.

Need more information on home improvement?!?!? You really have to visit this site, http://www.anglianhome.co.uk/.

Finally, some layouts

I've added this layout in dani's blog.

a happy day with jollibee layout

i still have a few cooking at home, hopefully will be able to finish and post it by next week. anyways, last night i saw these photos:

maching hawig?

i was trying to look for a version where dani has a longer hair but twas already late. might try to do a matinong layout next time :) often times, people will say that dani looked more like gary than me. i've no problem with that. when i was younger everytime when someone asks me "sino kamukha mo", i will automatically say, "si dadi." the thing is, when i grew older, i resembled my mom more and more. oh well, nakakatuwa lang din :)

Still no photos

my bad. I was trying to make this blog not so much of a paid blog so i was attempting to personalize it more by adding photos. my aim last weekend was to go through my photos and upload to relevant previous posts. sadly, just like any other weekend, i'm stuck with dani most of the day and this weekend was no different :)

however, i do have lots to thank about this past weekend. i managed to sleepover and re-bond with my girlfriend O at her place. photos are still with her, so utang ulit ;p we ravished a succulent dinner at Conti's and to my girlfriends dismay, hit the sack immediately after.

in my possession, i now have Robbie Williams' the handsomest man CD, yey!

yesterday, my folks went over to snoop around.. oopps.. to see if we've soiled the mattress.. opps.. to check up on us.. oopss.. i keep using the words here hehe anyways, as i was saying, they dropped by to see our progress on house improvements and of course, to dot on dani whatelse :D wasn't able to talk to my sis though, i think she's too tired from the commute while i was busy playing host :D

by the way, i was on leave last friday, as if you noticed the lack of post :p meaning, i've got tons of catching up to do at work. so, off i am. hope you'll have a great week ahead of you ;) i'm crossing my fingers for mine ;)

Love and Marriage Flicks

So I've been searching for up coming flicks and found these interesting

Ira & Abby

Abby: Do you want to get married?
Ira: I don't know you at all.
Abby: Half of marriages end up in divorce anyway. We probably have as good chance as anyone.

* * *

Because at some point everyone asks:

Why did I get married?

Husband: Diane, when you got married, you gave up the eyes for us, ok?

Wife: I'm gonna go up this mountain and save my marriage.

Photo blankets: Unique Gift

Since I've already started thinking of what gifts to give this coming yuletide season, I was thinking, photo blankets. . I've yet to receive one so I guess it's quite a unique gift. Sure I can make my own using photo transfer paper but it won't fairly measure up with Vision Bedding’s products of which are specially dyed into photo blankets producing high quality, sharp and vivid colors.

For starters, I might want to have Dani’s digital layouts printed as throw pillows for my parents. I can already imagine them happy to receive such gift.

I have a trojan virus

yup, it's residing in my work pc since last week and i haven't alerted our helpdesk yet. I might request for them to reformat my pc once i'm out for a short vacation :) Piso fare of CEB is back but i was vying one for next year. however the promo's travel period covered, if i'm not mistaken, is from November to December only.

ok, prison break. i'm at season two, episode 21, one more and i'm on the edge of my seat for season 3. i borrowed CSI Las Vegas Season 3 cd from my colleague but i might have to forestall watching it unless i want to flunk my LOMA exam. Way behind my digiscrapping and photos to scrap are continuously piling up *sigh*

* * *

are you quirky?

i got tagged by olive on this. hmm, have to think well about this...

quirky things that make my family special:

1. our family loves to cook! we've always joked in the house na walang payat sa pamilya namin. self explanatory na yan. hehehe! and since my mom loves to cook, she'd rather prepare for special occasions than spend a lot in a restaurant. her philosophy is, spend x amount in a restaurant and you can only accomodate a very limited number of people. but, spend the same amount but prepare it at home, you'll be able to feed double the number. who can go against that kind of thinking huh!

2. our family can't eat without any condiments, especially patis. it is such a very important part of our eating habit that appetites are low without this key ingredient. just to emphasize how important this is, my brother who just recently got married and who'll possibly be moving to canada by end of the year is already worrying where he'll get patis when he gets there. he's the most patis-fanatic in the family.

3. we love a good bargain! if we can find better deals in divisoria, then that's where we'll buy it.

4. the tv set is a staple appliance in our home. we each have our own set of tv. there's even a tv in our mini-store. if not for our small tv getting busted last week, there would have been one as well near the dining area.

5. we prefer drinking juice or iced tea over softdrinks. but, we do indulge once in a while.

6. i can't sleep without a blanket covering my feet. i don't care whether it's hot or not. my feet has to be covered, otherwise, i can't sleep easily. socks are out of the question.

About the Tag:
1.) Olive tagged me and I will tag six people.
2.) If you are tagged, then on your blog do a post about six interesting/weird facts about you and/or your family. Then tag six other people to do the same and leave a comment for them that they have been tagged and to come visit your site. This is one more way to get to know each other.

this has been sitting in my drafts since last year

Si Kit

dati may owner kami, kulay dilaw.

Inmate

i feel like i'm there with them as they plan their break out. Yup, still catching up, i'm at episode 14 and I haven't got a decent shut eye since yesterday. I did some layout for a friend and I want it done kaya napuyat ako, tapos eto na nga't may hinahapit pa :D

Fish is kinda growing on me, i'm starting to like him more and more :D

K.K.K.

I was able to get a downloadable pdf list of 100 in 10 Creative Ideas for Scrapbook Pages. Nice 'to and very helpful, something I can read offline pag nagdi-digiscrap sa house :)

* * *

Shoo, Fly!

Setting: Tito Raffy's house in Old Meding fronting the Basketball court.

Morning, I was about to take a bath with my socks still on. I was caught off-guard when a group of men arrived. There happens to be a gathering but I can't recall for what occassion. It seems to me that some of them are my ex and some are men I used to have HD (hidden desire) with. In fact, Mohinder Suresh was present.

One did stood out from the rest, it was Seyo. I remember slightly touching his elbow for support as I was removing my socks while standing. I think I did that on purpose to get a feel of him, to initiate, that somehow a single touch can rekindle a spark of something what we had in the past.

I stepped out of the house and went into another. This time, it resembles the original native bamboo house my grandparents used to live in. I saw an ex (with still a grudge on me) staring at the window from where he sees wooden structure that I've built. I think it's a mini library with book on shelves and audio cds stacked in a row. He has a this threatening look as if he wants to destroy it. I think I pleaded to him and said something like, "Please, no."

There was more of that dream but I really couldn't remember the last scene or the conversation in it.

Shoo, fly, don't bother me,
Shoo, fly, don't bother me,
Shoo, fly, don't bother me,
For I belong to somebody.

I feel, I feel,
I feel like a morning star,
I feel, I feel,
I feel like a morning star.

Mirror, mirror on the wall

Over the radio I've heard a dj mentioned that pigeons only need to see another pigeon in order to reproduce. If no pigeon is around, it's reflection will suffice. What if humans are as such? LOL.

Just imagine Snow white's stepmother saying

"Mirror, mirror on the wall who's the most pregnant of them all?"

*poof*

instant 42-inch belly and a parasite inside :)

btw, this wiki article on snow white's interesting :) noted are different variations of the said fairy tale.
