Helping the kids out of their coats
But wait the babies haven't been born
Unpacking the bags and setting up
And planting lilacs and buttercups

But in the meantime I've got it hard
Second floor living without a yard
It may be years until the day
My dreams will match up with my pay

Old dirt road
(Mushaboom mushaboom)
Knee deep snow
(Mushaboom mushaboom)
Watching the fire as we grow old
(Mushaboom mushaboom)

I got a man to stick it out
And make a home from a rented house
And we'll collect the moments one by one
I guess that's how the future's done

How many acres how much light
Tucked in the woods and out of sight
Talk to the neighbors and tip my cap
On a little road barely on the map

Old dirt road
(Mushaboom mushaboom)
Knee deep snow
(Mushaboom mushaboom)
Watching the fire as we grow old
(Mushaboom mushaboom)
(Mushaboom mushaboom)
Old dirt road rambling rose
(Mushaboom mushaboom)
Watching the fire as we grow old
(Mushaboom mushaboom)
Well I'm sold

I'm on Auto Pilot

Jenee has posted an interesting article on 39 ways to live and not merely exist.

Here are some pointers I got from the said post:

..fall in love with your partner all over again. -- nuff said.

Walk on the beach. -- hey i did that just recently! :D

Savor food. -- now this I am so guilty of, people who know me will attest to that :D

Wake early and greet the day. -- Dani and I say Hi to Mr.Sun most of the time.

Quit your job.. -- hmm, I was thinking about this just this morning because I left the house with a heavy heart, not really looking forward to going to work. But I think I have to stick to it for five years more.

..find the things in life that excite you -- ok, i'll think about this more.

Make your living by doing the thing you love to do. -- again, i saw wedding photos on display at the lobby today, some where "enhanced" thinking maybe i can do that but wishful thinking for now.

Do you sit all day in front of computer, shuffling papers and taking phone calls and chatting on the Internet? Don’t waste your days like this. -- i wouldn't really say that it's a waste, we build friendship online diba? But if that's all we do most of the time then I agree. Life has so much to offer offline.

Turn off the TV...Only plug it back in when you have a DVD of a movie you love. - I don't watch TV that much anymore, I watch DVD series instead.. hehe, same thing pala!

Pull away from Internet... Right now! And go and do something. -- uh-oh, is this a sign, I have to submit a project timeline this morning and I'm only at 10%.

Good morning, starshine!

The sun is up, it's a new day, a new week. I'll try to start this one right, with a smile :) I hope you guys will help me on this one and be infected of the happy virus i'm sending your way :D

From aggies's blog, she shared a very interesting article on bringing courtship back to marriage. I have to read it right? sounds like there's a solution there i may not be aware of. After much thought, it just reminds me that we (hubby and i) should find new stuffs to learn and enjoy together. that there's no better time to do the work as in NOW. i say, i'll just try to kiss my husband more often (like later when we see each other afterwork) and start from there :D it's the little things that count, dba? :D

The difference

Here's a funny quote I heard from the radio awhile ago.

(From a man's point of view)

A man wakes up as handsome as he was last night. Meanwhile a woman deteriorates overnight.

Hence, cayote ugly :D

think happy thoughts

kelangan magbaon ng maraming happy thoughts sabi nga ng friend ko. whenever you're in doubt about love or marriage, if it can stand the test of time, happy thoughts lang katapat nyan.

To blog or not to blog, that is the question.

Ever since I have known what a secret diary is, I have always had one with me. Though I wasn’t able to keep any in my twenty-nine years of existence, I just kept writing. There is really no pattern in the way I write, given the fact that I am no nobel prize material. Nor sooner will I write anything that can save the world or finally bring peace to men. Mostly, I just write whatever using my native tongue or my in much-needed polishing English. Quite frankly, the one time my blog got nominated somewhere amongst others much more qualified, came to me as outmost flattery even if it was meant to be a prank or not, which I’d like to believe is the latter.

Maybe it be in paper or through the web, all this time, I just kept on writing.

First, I write for myself because I find it therapeutic. It forces me to think and reflect on whatever is currently occupying my mind. Moreover, it helps me recall things that are relevant to me whenever my memory fails me. Maybe someday, if I find the time, then I can look back and say I did exist and live.

Next, I write for my children and grandchildren. Provided that blogger won’t shutdown me down or I will be able to buy my own space sometime soon (with all the opportunities I have been frantically grabbing), then my thoughts are for them to read and pass on to the next generation. That they may bring me up during family gatherings and discuss my silly thoughts and my oh-so-philosophical outlook in life.

Finally, I write for you. I never really thought about the impact of exposing myself to you for I tend to easily dismiss negative thoughts (and still believe that man by nature is good therefore deserves the benefit of the doubt and initially can be trusted). Just so you can learn from me, cry with me and laugh with me.

I fear to be forgotten. I blog because I do not want to forget who I was, who I am and who I wanted to be. I blog to be remembered. I blog to share myself, if you will have me, with paid post or not.

Sinking Thoughts

a while ago, someone asked me, san and walk to today, sabi ko..

"bibili kami mamaya ng lababo, how romantic." *rolls eyes*

my friend beside me said,

"kami kaya (referring to partner), kelan kaya kami bibili ng lababo."

haay, wake up call. iba rin talaga when you have something you look forward to no.. like.. marriage.

Love at first sight

If you believe in love at first sight, you never stop looking.

haven't had the chance to see the ending of this movie (pirated kasi shh..) but it's very thought-provoking.
