And since the little girl can only manage to make a ball, slice or squash flat the dough, with a little help from use, these are the stuffs we made with clay.
From the top left are: dani and her flat circle, breakfast, blue, dani looking at bottom right photo, shapes and a cat by hubby, barney (pre-decapitated by spark), lastly a birthday cake with candles by hubby.

The center photo captures her right hand and feet molds. I'm tempted to keep them but that'll have to be another project :D

Proud Mami

Fantastico, I was able to update Dani's blog. I just typed and typed. I wish I could be more specific on her milestones. Kaya nga nakapili na ang videocam sa projects next year kasi syempre iba pa rin if you can see your child doing her thing diba :D

Nga pala, since hindi kami nakasama sa EK with hubby, pupunta na lang dapat kami kay Dra for Dani's monthly checkup and meningo shot. Usually pumupunta kami dun by 11am. Kaso nakatulog si Dani at nagising ng mga 1pm na. I texted Dra asking her how much yung shot (P2K daw) kaso she's not in her clinic na daw so next week na lang kami punta ulit. So ang siste, nagpunta na lang kami ni dani, kasama si yaya rosel, sa SM Dasma at nag-malling :D Before going, I even made a list which mostly consists of Dani's stuffs hehe

Nasa SM kami ng 2pm and was there until 10pm. Sabi nga ni hubby sinulit daw namin ang paglabas. Sa isip ko, buti nga hindi kami napagsarhan haha. Dinaanan na lang kami ni hubby dun galing sa office nila (bumalik pa kasi after their EK trip). So dun na din kami nagdinner, we ordered Nilagang Baboy and Relyenong Bangus combo sa Goldilocks. At ang bata, kumain pa rin :D Natapos na kami't lahat eh nakatingin pa sa kabilang table at parang gusto pang humingi :p takaw!

I'll try to do a separate post on stuffs we bought tonight. Pag kinaya pa ng powers ko magpicture at magpost ulit kasi 2:30am na diba? As always, ako na lang ang gising dito sa pamamahay namin :>

My Drama Queen

I'm really bad at keeping my promises tsk..tsk.. I still haven't updated dani's blog. But hey, I did scrap a recent photo this morning. I tuned out last night around 9pm and I woke up by 1am and didn't care to sleep anymore. Hence the recent posts you've been reading. My baby is such a drama queen lately, nakakatuwang nakakainis haha. I used one of Misty Cato's simple freebie templates on this one. I'll try to add more credits later.

If you will just allow me to share my thoughts on carrot bars. I just love the ones served at Bo's. For P60 a piece for a 3Wx2Lx0.5H, pretty steep but once in a while the treat's worth it :D How about you guys, do you like carrot cakes or carrot bars? Where do you get the yummiest ones? :D

As promised

Here's the layout I did when we last went for swimming :D I need to buy dani a new bathing suit kasi tumataas na yung top nya hehe


Ayan, eto naman yung ginawa ko kagabi :D Masyado yatang bright yung screen ko sa bahay kaya napa-dark yata msyado yung background paper. Last week pa nakakabit yung christmas tree namin kaso wala pa palang tali yung mga pangsabit namin kaya nung saturday pumunta kami sa SM Dasma para magkabit ng Smart BRO at dumaan na din kami ng National Bookstore kung san kami nakabili ng gold na panali :D

Nakakatuwa na si dani isama sa mall, marunong na nga yatang mamili. One time nasa grocery kami she'll get her juice from the counter and drop it inside the basket, galeng. Sometimes naman she'll just randomly get some stuffs kunwari kukunin ko pero ibabalik ko din kasi hindi sya papayag na hindi masama yun sa basket hehe Tapos nung nagpunta kami ng NBS she'll get stuffs from Nemo or Barney. Gala na shopper pa, tsk..tsk.. Dadi better prepare your pocket na ha!! ;)

I'm a zombie

I haven't slept much last night. I finished 2 layouts but the one you're seeing here i think was saved in some very bad sectors of my flash disk while the other can't even be recognized by my pc after the transfer. sheesh, bukas na lang ulit.

About the photo: The green jumper was given to dani by her lola mina months ago. She's my tita who took care of her the other day in my post here. Maluwag pa yun nung sinukat ko kay dani, twas in feb '07 pero ngayon, kasya na! :D i love the combination of green and purple, parang hindi sya normally pang girl pero cute naman dba? :D mwehehe

Eto pa, last night sa sobrang takam ko to use ScrapArtist's Fiesta Freebie para akong na-mental block. Too many goodies na hindi ko alam kung pano ko gagamitin kasi gusto ko gamitin lahat! :D Ayun, natagalan ako talaga dito sa layout na to. I'll use this LO for the 17mo update on Dani's blog. Syempre utang pa yun hehe.

Nga pala, I thought it's only thursday today until I heard hubby telling dani earlier na we'll be playing with her the whole day tomorrow. nya, saturday na pala bukas! So better get some things done at work para may na-accomplish naman ako kahit papano ;p

Btw, if you have unique company christmas party themes please pa-share naman. The best we could come up last night was Disney, tama ba naman yun! :p

tomorrow i'll update dani's blog for her 17mos development. it's my first day at work after a long vacation so this will be quick. just wanted to share with you this layout. i've been striving for simplicity and try not to use too much elements which i don't really have many in the first place haha i still haven't started with dani's 1st birthday album (boo) so maybe now that i'm through with my LOMA exam i can finally focus on it ;) i was able to organize some files yesterday though so that's a start :D

We've been co-sleeping with Dani since the day she was born. Well, except pala for her first night at the nursery pero other than that she sleeps with us among her friends :D sometimes when she wakes up at the right side of the bed, she'll hug and kiss each one greeting them good morning, a sign of a great day ahead :D

As promised, here's the layout i did the other night :D i was supposed to put a different message like:

about the photo: i was playing around with dani's nails trying to put some polish on them but she resisted even if i showed her while i put some in mine. ayaw talaga.. senyales ba ito na hindi sya talaga makikay? :D

No corners

So I tried circles last night :D I always find it hard what to use as date stamper though. Later ko na naisip, i forgot to "enhance: our pics in the LO, just a little adjustment on curves. Anyways, I did another one pero sobrang antok na ko kagabi kaya nakalimutan ko transfer sa thumb drive. Bukas ulit, i'll have something to show you ;)

These photos were taken, (man i even screwed up on the dates!) last saturday. Garry received a text from one of our kumpare and his mother died (no not because of the bombing) so we dropped by to give our condolences to him and his family. Before we went to the wake, we left Dani and her yaya to my Mom's care. Andun na din kasi si Tita Cristy, one of the best cook in our family, her kakanin are the next best thing to my Apo's. I miss na nga may grandma lalo na pag may special occasions, sarap kasi talaga magluto. So pinagbigyan ako ni tita and she made rice pudding for me! yey! Even though she's tired from the commute (all the way from agusan) she just made lañeras of pudding. I forgot to upload her yummy creation eh, as always bukas ulit.

Tita Baby and Tito Jim, with Tita Aring, decided to visit my mom's house that night also so saya din kasi they get to see my cute little angel. When hubby and I were away, bibong-bibo daw ang baby ko she danced, sang and "talked" a lot pero nung andun na ko haay as expected kapit tuko na sakin. She doesn't want to leave my side na ayaw na sumama kahit kanino.

My current mantra: this too shall pass. I mean, they'll reach that age when they're not that malambing anymore diba so cherish lang din kahit super ngalay na or hirap to attend to your own needs :D oh well.

Before I forget to blog about this: Kers, congrats bro! Kaso itlog ulit mwehehe :D I needed to give away some of dani's baby stuffs and clothes to my cousin na. I sorta pressured my SIL to take the ultrasound para malaman na namin if i'll reserve some of the good girly stuffs for her. So off they went na nga kaso boy ulit eh much to my Dad's delight, dadami na daw kasi lahi nya :D

In the rarest occasion I get to make her smile on cam. Hindi ko pa nga nahuli talaga. Usually makita pa lang nya yung cam ko she'll start whining already, like saying I've had enough mami. Tapos magpapakarga na yun hehe.

I haven't been scrapping latetly kasi puno na yung harddisk ng laptop ni hubby. Natatamad naman ako magburn ng files sa CD tapos purge ko. However,hubby promised me na magi-install na sha extra HD sa desktop PC namin this week. Yey, hopefully next week may mapost na ko :D

I'm not feeling well since the other way, pero bearable pa naman, talaga lang mabigat ang katawan. Kung after effect to ng bakasyon namin eh kay tagal naman yata masyado. By the way, I already got the negatives of the underwater cam scanned pero I don't it's worth to upload kasi malabo. Hmm.. P550 for the cam tapos P150 for the scan to cd tapos wala palang matinong kuha.. tsk..tsk.. that's what I get for not reseaching or buying a better cam. I did bought a kodak brand pero siguro nga due to poor lighting at wala syang built-in flash kaya poor din ang shots.

Mommy talk

Yey, was able to somehow update dani's blog. Every week, I try snapping a photo or two of dani, whatever it is that she's doing basta meron. I just can't post it regularly due to time constraint. Minsan gusto ko iscrap muna pero nangyayari kasi natatambak sya ng natatambak hanggang sa nakalimutan ko na. Anyways, just wanted to share these:

i was trying to look for a version where dani has a longer hair but twas already late. might try to do a matinong layout next time :) often times, people will say that dani looked more like gary than me. i've no problem with that. when i was younger everytime when someone asks me "sino kamukha mo", i will automatically say, "si dadi." the thing is, when i grew older, i resembled my mom more and more. oh well, nakakatuwa lang din :)

hehe late na naman to na-scrap. anyways, this was dani's first dip in the pool, sympre hindi ko na-journal un. i find it really hard to journal my thoughts kaya i'm always in awe to my fellow digiscrappers who managed to be so creative and expressive+coherent in their jouranaling/scrapping.

I feel in itch

I have just converted my Yahoo photos to my flickr account and got upgraded to free 3Mos of Pro Account. Will try to shoot more but for now I'll leave you with these :D
