Something caught my eye upon turning from Greenbelt 1, Teriyaki Boy is closed and will be replaced by .. BonChon Chiken. I've read it's JJang! :D
I can already imagine myself feasting on these with a bottle of Suju perhaps for authenticity's sake haha The question is, how deep is the hole in my pocket will be afterwards :p
got one the other day :) M teases me cause I look so serious :p what can I say 정말 멋져
Btw, that's the word of the day haha.
Before going to sleep, it has always been a routine for me to ask the little again about her school day. Usually when I come home and she's busy playing or watching the tube, she would give me a standard ok answer to the same question. But asking her again later that night when I'm wearing my breeches, would give me a more detailed lengthy answer. It's a risk as it delays her bedtime but at least I get tidbits of her thoughts.
D: Mami, you remember Ethan?
K: (Thinks really hard and lies) Yes, I remember Ethan. Why?
D: How do you remember him? (I guess she's checking if I really do know the boy)
K: Ahh.. he's the boy with the straight hair.
D: You're right, Mami! (whew) He always makes me laugh.
K: (Curious) How does he make you laugh?
D: Sometimes, he'll look under the table and (bumps her hand on her forehead)
K: Ahh.. he pretends to bump his head.
D: (Giggling) Yes, he's so funny.
K: Hehe Silly pala si Ethan. Dani, who's cuter, Ethan or Castel? (The latter being her crush in nursery)
D: They are both cute.
I don't remember anymore how we moved to another topic but this sure is something the husband needs to hear haha.
Last night, the little girl showed me her long test papers. If my memory serves me right, she had 2 subjects, one of which is Reading, 50/50. Two subjects scored at 48/50 and Language with 45/50.
I've yet to upload her report card for the first quarter. She ranked 4th in their class of 13. Although the school only recognize the top 3, we are proud parents nonetheless. Merely a couple of points difference and she would've made it, teacher said. No, we're not aiming to snatch that spot for the next quarter. We're just happy she's doing well and would have given her diamonds for reward :)
Done with the academic stuffs, I asked teacher about the little girl's behavior in school. Sad to say, even if she's brighter than some of the older kids in her class, she has the tendency to procrastinate specially on writing and coloring tasks. (I think she got that from me LOL.) She would wait for her seatmate to finish and nonchalantly ask for her help.
Teacher is trying to instill to her the value of patience and she'd want to be called first all the time. In effect, Teacher would purposely call her last which I can imagine how much makes the little girl sad and frustrated :(
Honestly, I'm at a loss here as I don't want to discourage her to strive to be first. Back home, I just told her to be more patient and wait for her turn. How can a child understand that sometimes you have to give others a chance and to wait for your turn? Wouldn't that kill her eagerness to participate during recitation? *sigh*
Would it be such if I shared my plans for our upcoming 6th wedding anniversary :p
Haven't asked the husband yet, given we have no alternatives yet and he always (more often than not) just goes along with whatever I have in mind, the possibility is almost certain.
Kers, Jo, where to eat? :) Most of the restos there has the best affiliate marketing program it makes it hard for me to choose.
To all Korean 완두콩, I've yet to meet. Though miles apart, I've an affinity with them thanks to certain 오 사람.
I wonder what kind of 선물 will 팬 will give them this year. I bet some luxury ones from affluent 누나 hehe
I've read somewhere that it is essential to know a family's gift giving tradition before deciding for a present. I can only imagine how tough it'll be for a newbie :D
Mhen?! But I've already forgotten the date of K's 10th birthday held at Shakey's Pizza in Paseo Magallanes. We weren't able to attend the mass for the birthday celebrant but we got there just before the party started. Despite the reminder of K's mom to bring our masks, we didn't have any. Shame on us. Prior to the party, hubby and I were searching for ready-made masks from the department store but either some are too fancy or hard or just plain uncomfortable which made me decide to just make our own. Obviously, I didn't even get to design our masks :p
Mommy E was thoughtful enough to give the little an inflatable tiger mask. However, the little girl only obliged to wear it for a couple of minutes and soon the mask ended up with me.
During the Bring Me game and the host requested for kids to get their Sexy Moms. By this time, my daughter hasn't won any prize yet so I've no choice but to bring myself :p Turns out that before we can claim our prize we needed to do a catwalk. Yaiks, the humiliation I have to go through :p And so the mask came in handy at least to hide my embarrassed self a bit.
Lucky for J's mom, Aug 30 was declared a holiday. We arrived at the venue quite early hoping we could lend a hand with some of the preparation. Even with our recent beach holiday, my little tadpole couldn't wait to get in the pool already.
It was like an upgraded backyard party, no fancy program but all the essentials thoughtfully taken care of. I wish I could also have a nacho bar and choco fondue in my parties hehe but then I maybe the one gawfing of those stuffs and I might need taking weight loss product again. I particularly liked the cupcakes from Cake Avenue and the lootbag personally packed by Super Mom L.
*photo to be replaced later
I haven't renewed my flickr Pro Account hence the lack of new photos. I'm just waiting for my payday, until then I might just upload and use photos via blogger.
Anyhow, I'm really looking forward to this weekend and we'll get to celebrate my mom's 54th birthday. (Yeah, I needed to compute first prior to writing haha). Wouldn't you agree guys that she looks younger than her actual age? :D Maybe it's one of the benefits from the fat burner pill she used to take? Hopefully, I'd get to gracefully age likewise.
In between finding the best appetite suppressant for women to prepare for our upcoming vacation, I did a thorough research on Boracay. Based from the maps and reviews I've seen on Diniwid Beach, I know that a foot path to Station 1 exists. However, no photos were available of the said foot path. A few only hinted that that it'll take about 10-15mins and that it's not advisable to traverse at night as it lacks proper lighting.
Facing the beach turn left and climb the stone stairs where unused banca's are park.
Straight ahead you'll see a small cove. Sometimes you'll see locals turning this as a dating venue. Reminds me of some cheeky movie :p
From the left, you'll see a small hidden cave housing Mama Mary.
Looking back at Diniwid Beach, this is how far we've come.
Final turning point will give you an awesome sight of Station One.
Mamaya na to! :D
*fingers crossed*
