So we have foreigners over at the office and one was asking how do we eat mangoes.
Smart-arsh me says:
"You get a knife. Slice the cheeks near the bones.."
Another one butted in and said, "You mean seed, right?"
Yup.. my translation was so literal. I swear, I could've died of embarrassment.
I'm now home and I still can't get over it :p
Abandoned, my nano must've felt. I survived my morning listening to Mraz YT Playlists as the office continue to resemble twilight zone.
Lunch is the hardest part. Though eager colleagues went out to savor the heat of the day.. I had to listen to myself chew. munch. slurp and gulp. repeat until fin. burp.
Tomorrow is her third session. Hopefully, she'll finish all twelve. We weren't able to practice her lessons today. Still thinking how to coax her to practice tonight.
She picks up fast but I'd rather she take it slow and enjoy learning how to read and make music.
I've been neglecting my flickr and blog, agree? Currently trying to find the right mix with family and my new job. Apart from my attempt at acquiring working knowledge on Oracle, asap, it is now officially summer time.
So?
Gah. I don't want to think about any of these and just enjoy what's left of my short vacation.
