Because the host was filling up dead air while the fam search for the missing bride's mom (who's apparently puffing her lungs out quite far from the hall), G's cousin, the bride, asked for my husband to talk in front and say something.
I was nervous for him and would've ran to his side grabbed the mic and shared my thoughts instead. Good thing I kept still as I too am cuirous what he have got to say. After stumbling for words for five minutes or so, hubby collected himself and just stayed true to what he knows to be the best advise he can give.

Go to church, if not just a short prayer will do.
That's basically the gist of his 15mins speech lol. If I was the one up there, you bet you'll hear more on how we got together, from proposal to wedding preps stress and the hows of staying married for this long.
But then again, maybe that deserves another lengthy post for another day.
My takeaway from this event, being the first we went to as a couple sans D in a looong time: It's not so bad when it's just the two of us. Heck, it was bearable lolz
