I haven't been a very good blogger but i've been a good in flickr! :D Was able to finish a borrowed copy of The Time Traveler's Wife saturday evening and the love between Henry and Claire inspired me so much so that I just want to cuddle with my hubby and my daughter the whole day. Hopefully I can do a more thorough review but so much have been said about the book already.

Where good friends meet

Yey, sa wakas nagkita na kami ulit ni O. Syempre walang pictures, nakalimutan ko magdala ng camera. Usually groggy pa ko sa umaga kaya dami ko nakakalimutan pagalis ng bahay. Anyways, para lang matuloy magkita na kami after N months, we settled for a breakfast date sa Max's Park Square. Nagchicken sya at nagbangus naman ako :D Tambay kami starbucks afterwards at nagchika to the max :D

Friday night, we had dinner at Abe with MA and EPE. We saw their dear son again, humahaba na din sya at malikot ngang sobra. I'd like to believe na iba talaga pag lalake ang anak, sobrang physical talaga.

As recommended by MA, we ordered the following:

Burong Mangga - sarap neto, pangontra sa cholesterol hehe
Paco Fern and Tomato Salad - close enough to what we make in batangas, may hinahalo kaming parang bubot na mangga.
Sinigang na Bangus Belly sa Bayabas - i like guava with ginataan so sanay ako na matamis sya. Pero masarap din pala syang ipang-sigang. Hindi nakakahirin yung sabaw kahit na usually maaligasgas ang bayabas diba?
Lechon Cubano - parang mentos, crispy on the outside soft in the inside hehe oh my cholesterol
Pinakbet Wen Manong - hmm.. i wont order this one again. kayo kung mahilig kayo sa okra at ampalaya :D

We just shared an order of fruit platter and mango crepe (forgettable) for dessert. As my throat hurts, I opted to have watermelon with ginger. Wasn't able to check if they have wine of the month in their menu. Maybe next time we'll try the pochero :D

Hubby and I were at SM Sta. Rosa when we saw the poster for this show. Initially we were planning to watch on the 13th of December at SM Dasma. However, due to schedule conflicts we ended up watching on the 6th instead. I told Ninang Jen about it as sure Leal, her son, would love to watch the show as well.

After confirming the plans with Jen, I told hubby that I'm planning to buy VIP tickets. I would like for Dani to have a closer look plus the photo opps reserved for such tickets. Sabi nya, "Kung VIP ang bibilhin mo, wag mo na kong bilhan. Tutal kasama mo naman na si Jen. Ang importante makanuod si dani."

I wasn't able to google reviews for the show and was unaware that it's only about 40-45mins long. I made sure we get center aisle seats so dani and leal can roam around. Unfortunately, they tied the aisle seats with a rope preventing kids (and adult fanatics alike) to go in front.

I understand, they might be avoiding accidents like a kid being trampled/stepped on by the purple dinosaur pero naman, hindi kami makapagemote masyado sa seats namin. Funny pa, sa sobrang excited ni dani, she wasn't able to have a nap prior sa show. Siguro bandang last two songs, napapapikit na talaga si dani sa antok. I gave her sweets to keep her awake. I paid for the photo op tapos tulog lang sya sa picture :p Isa pa palang blooper ko: I forgot to charge our camera's battery. Yun lang naman :p

Didn't do much at home this weekend. Yours truly is quite busy downloading and burning dani's favorite characters.

Managed to cook lunch earlier though :D It's my version of chopsuey minus other veggies :p Not that I dont like the missing veggies, we just ran short of them.


We were planning to replenish our stock and do groceries after lunch but hubby was just too tired to drive so we just stayed home. Time just keeps passing by and as I check my watch (far from Swatch watches), I should be hitting the sack soon.

Yesterday, Dani was singing this song:

The itsy bitsy spider went up Dani's hands..

and ended the song changing some of the words as she go along. I guess she's kind of bored indoor most of the time.

After eating breakfast earlier, we grabbed dani's bike and went out for a walk to the playground. It was such a great day outside. The sun provides just enough warmth from the cold breeze we've been having recently.

Got me some good outdoor shots today good enough to digiscrap. If I was doing paper scrapping, I might have to buy me a new rubber stamp that would go perfectly well with our photos.

When dani saw this bike in SM, she eagerly went to ride on it and successfully tried to pedal. So we thought its about time to replace her weather-beaten bike and brought this one home.

Turns out she's too lazy to pedal and since this one is unlike her first bike which has a handle where we can push it ourselves, hubby decided to tie it with a rope in front and pull it along the way.

Like most Filipinos, we try to have at least 13 round fruits for the new year. Add mangoes to that, resulting with loads of fruit to eat after New Year. Anyway, so as not to waste the sweet mangoes, I did this no-bake-no-brainer dessert. I have a bar of Lindt white chocolates so I threw it in to add some texture with its almonds and caramel bits :D Great stuff to dig in while watching a flick in your home theater

we're supposed to be all systems go for our migrated commission system come first working day of the year. that's one of the reasons why i have been so busy (don't you hate that word) lately.

one time, while inside an elevator, a co-worker was ranting that he had to cut short his holiday break as he has to personally validate something. clearly he is barking at the wrong dog as I barely had one.

anyways, i am not holding my breath waiting for the fat lady to sing. it maybe months until this whole thing becomes stable. meanwhile, i might hum and practice along, in anticipation ;)
