Summer Outing

Despite dani's persistent cough, we joined our company's summer outing at Wild Orchid Resort in Olongapo. We left cavite around 430am, off from makati by 545am. We made two stops and arrived at around 10am. Snacks were served and the games started. Was not able to participate, we decided to stroll by the beach (not much like Outer Banks) and see if Dani will like it. She cried when her dress was caught by the waves and got wet :p

The heat was getting to dani's nerves (and she in mine) as she's whining already an hour after. By 1130am, we headed to the pool, which tasted a bit salty btw, and dani's mood dramatically improved the moment she touched the water :D She didn't want to leave the pool come lunch time so I proceeded to take a bite by myself and left them at the pool. Minutes later, ate glen and dani are headed towards me. Hinahanap daw ako as usual, so eat muna kami and then balik din agad sa pool after.

We took a shower by 330pm and pig ourselves with the afternoon snacks. Quick awarding ceremonies while dani bonked out for almost an hour. We left the resort by 5pm and window shopped at a duty free store. We were off to manila by 7pm, slept the whole time and arrive almost 10pm already. Hubby was patiently waiting for us and finally headed home :D

In retro, this was the first time I spent a long bus drive with my daughter. Ok naman, as I've said, natulog lang din kaming parehas :) I didn't give her the ipod to watch dora until later na nung nasa resort na kami (during the games).
