Lunch at Leslie's, Olgs said it's better than RSM. They have two versions of bulalo in their menu. Naturally we asked what is the difference. The special version has potatoes and corn otherwise, justifying it's additional price of P55.
This bulalo is tonto, TONTO! Walang utak, walang utak! Hmpf.
We have to ask the waiter to have it reheated as it's almost lukewarm. I want it piping hot as it should be served. A few minutes after, it was brought back to our table. No dice.
Anyways, Olgs is craving for Inihaw so we opted for barbecued Pork Spare Ribs Platter. Again, we asked why it's called platter, does it go with something else. Wittily the waiter answered, "Wala po syang kasama, nasa platter lang po kasi sya." Oh, I see.
In the middle of our lunch, a bus of Korean tourists arrived. In an instant, the place seemed a little less hmm.. calming :p Buti na lang we have this view:
Time for coffee and dessert. No other perfect place but: Bag of Beans.
We have this cozy nook for ourselves the whole afternoon.
I got me some carrot cake, more like loaf and bottomless House Blend Coffee (hey, we're planning to stay the whole afternoon kasi hehe). Olgs ordered their chocolate mousse despite me insisting she get cheesecake instead. I used her dessert to liven up mine.
Spread the love
My heart was doing cartwheels caused by two cups of their House Blend Coffee :D
To end the day perfectly, we treated ourselves with one and a half hour of massage at Tonton's spa. Dry massage lang pala dito. Not sure if it's worth coming back to.
The whole day feels like an extended birthday gift to myself :D Thanks hubby for letting me have a day off. Next time, date naman tayo ;)
