How to eat ripe mangoes ala Pinoy

So we have foreigners over at the office and one was asking how do we eat mangoes.

Smart-arsh me says:

"You get a knife. Slice the cheeks near the bones.."

Another one butted in and said, "You mean seed, right?"

Yup.. my translation was so literal. I swear, I could've died of embarrassment.

I'm now home and I still can't get over it :p
