Singer Sewing Machine

One summer afternoon, Tita Mina was looking all over for me. Frustrated, she went upstairs and scanned the room. She heard a small humming voice seemingly coming from beneath the skirts of the sewing machine cover. Lo and behold, she found me, swinging contently on the peddle, cutting my hair with scissors and singing the alphabet.

Parts of my summer were spent with my Nanay in Tiaong Quezon. I would help her cut retaso with a paper hexagon for pattern. For a day or two, she would sew them together and form a bedsheet or table cloth which she used around the house. Kaya naman when I wake up, there are hexagon shapes all over me :D

I grew up with pajamas sewn by my Apong Babae. I miss her and her tea rose scent.

By now, you can tell I want a sewing machine :D My mom has one and she's waiting for me to pick it up. I'm waiting until we I find a suitable working space for me at home.

Finally able to expand my cafe and garner enough money for redecorating my cafe. Currently at level 52, I'm salivating over the grand tandori chicken and chocolate cake. In real life, I might gobble up more than I could forcing me to take fat burner afterwards ;) I gave up on RollerCoaster Kingdom and FarmTown. I've got a couple of levels more to go until I get my hands on the lemon buttered lobster so I wont be quitting CafeWorld soon.

Grr.. I came home and saw dani like so. Ate Sol said dani was walking fast in front of her and tripped. No other injury, 100% on the face.. tsk.

She didn't cry much. I know it hurts and I try not to let her know I'm hurting also. This is her favorite book so far.


Retouch on betadine to help her scratches heal faster. Its the only thing I can do apart from kissing and hugging her a lot to make her feel better.


All is well with the little girl now, no pilay or anything. She has langib below her nose and I hope she'll be able to resist taking it off when it becomes itchy.
