gatang alimasag with langka

yummy! that's what i had for lunch :D i guess my parents miss me so much, with my brother as courier, they sent me a pack good for 3. shared it with my friends and it was superb! wish i shared it with hubby but he rarely eats crab but i know he'd love the langka. would've taken a pic of it but my brother borrowed my cam. he's off to baguio tomorrow, lucky him.

sometimes, i don't want to think of them too much because more likely, i'll end up crying. but hey, i'll give myself a break and let me feel that i really miss them much more than i want to.

priorities change over time

we both need to figure out where to focus our funds. here are our options: kitchen/laundry extension - this should be decided on before the rainy season.

car down payment - this can wait until december, perfect timing when we can get the best deals honeymoon - if i still don't get pregnant by october front lawn landscape - this is at the bottom of the list, all we have is carabao grass which is fine with me, for now. or we could just not spend until the end of the year. we're lucky to make ends meet however, we haven't been saving much and that worries me. i admire all soon-to-be parents, you're so brave. * * * trying to focus on the job at hand. no phone calls for me, sad. * * * have to finish selecting pics for our wedding album. *sigh* i know.. long overdue. * * * this made my day: skow

meet my neighbor's pup, brownie aka gretchen ^^ i'm starting to get attached to her, lately she's been following me around with her waggy little tail. can't resist rubbing her tummy which i think isn't fed much that's why my heart goes out to her everytime i see her.

made me think of getting our own dog. kaso kawawa naman kaso nobody's home most of the time. dbale, makikihiram na lang ako ;)

my aching muscles

saturday: i did more of the walking now than taking pics which lasted only an hour as compared to last time. starting to feel healthier now :D

sunday: garry's basketball practice was cancelled and since he's all dressed up already, we took the shuttlecock outside and 'attempted' to play badminton. all the time, my neighbors can hear my endless shriek and laughter. it was a fun game for me, don't know if we'll ever be pro's in this sport ;p garry can only scratch his head whenever i miss.

we ran out of pain reliever and so here i am with my aching muscles..argh!

cool way to cool down

a couple of weeks ago, my loving husband bought me a 10-speed osterizer. i've been wanting this before pa, nsa wish list ko tlga to. Akala ko we'll settle for something less expensive but shempre it's of lesser quality (plastic na ung rotator nya). knowing malalaspag ko sya agad, kelangan tlga bakal na at pangmatagalan. it's also nice to know na may service center pala sila dito lng din sa makati just incase mabasag ko ung pitcher or may masirang parts nya ;) anyways, here's something to show na magkalayo kami ng taste buds ni hubby (except pag nag-FK ;p) he likes his mango shake with milk while i prefer mine just plain. anyhow, share ko lng tong site ng oster for some recipes. enjoy!
