Only if I play violin then maybe I can take my music just about anywhere :D I've already asked how much a beginner's violin cost and it's more affordable than a new piano. Not to mention space saver, we wont be needing flat panel mount either.

Although, I don't think I can play anywhere. I wouldn't want someone shouting at me to stop that screeching noise haha Unless we have a soundproofed music room or I can be Park Hye-ri overnight, my only problem would be.. time to practice.

We were having a Family Day of some sorts. Dad was teasing Hubby for a drink saying they have 7-Eleven in Padre Garcia. I told Hubby I'll drink with them if he'll buy me Gilbey's Green Tea. Mami was there also but she didn't say anything.

I was on the grass with Dani beside me. I turned to my side and she requested I lie on my back instead so she can see the "smoke" from my mouth. I guess it was cold outside and my breath was foggy :D

It was about to rain, it might seem silly but I immediately jump in the pool so it wont get me wet :D Unahan daw ba ang ulan ;)

BTW, Minnie was present but like Mami, public speaking anxiety or not, no lines for her also.

I'm thinking of getting an ID so I can frequent the library :D although I doubt if the selection of books has improved but I'm missing the hush-hush atmosphere, rows of shelves, disorganized Dewey Decimal catalog drawers ;) dorky i know but i hangout in the library when waiting for friends. back then, i usually have the internet room for myself. I get to check email and chat as they weren't blocked yet. No such thing as click here to get free seo software ads when I was browsing sites.

Saturday morning, Dani woke up and told me Deigo (cousin of Dora) was in her dream. He was scared because the Black Monster would not let him go home. I was intently listening to her, trying to detect if there's some hint of fear from her voice. Nothing. She was just relaying it to me nonchalantly.

The first time she told me, I was in her dream also. However, when she was retelling her dreams to her dad, she did not mention me anymore. She couldn't describe me the monsters any further. I asked her if they smoke Padron, she couldn't tell. All she remembered was their bodies were black. Whatever they look like, I hope she'll forget before her dreams turn into nightmare.

I'm not the type of person who will forget my own birthday :D I'll ponder about it immediately after the holidays. Talk about excitement.

I haven't tried getting aninsurance online quote yet but it's a fact that premium increases in parallel with your age. Not that I have budget for another policy but I would love to get more protection.

Nowadays, I try to get some more zzz's and take better care of my health. Try not to miss any meal, even a biscuit will do whenever I feel hungry. I'm not giving up hope on losing weight. I might not get back into my pre-pregnancy shape but I'm determined to shape up. Tai Chi+Running seems like a good start.

Time for a Haircut

As you can see from my previous post, Dani's hair has grown and it's been a daunting task to brush her hair lately. Inspired by Jan Di's bangs, I wondered what she would look like if she had some. So I got myself Dani's beado's sprayer, a comb and a pair of scissors. No clamps needed.

No protest so far. I did promise the little girl I wont make her hair short. She equates long hair as princess-ly.

Mommy, don't like you to cut my hair anymore.

uh-oh, I've already cut her right side. I insisted, she cried. I told her dad will spank me if he saw her hair like so. She wailed. I stopped and decided to give her a bath na. Long story short, I promised her we'll go to SM if she'll let me cut her hair.

After an hour, Me happy, Dani happy with a new haircut while walking hand in hand strolling in the mall :D

This photo was taken prior to her haircut. The other night, I passed by Jollibee trying to find a cheap pasalubong for my little girl. They have a pink radio toy/kikay kit for only P20. I was quite in a hurry to go home, picked up the best looking set and paid at the counter. I got home and showed it to her. She instantly liked it and asked me if she could help me put some on.

The next night, I came home to this. I really tried so hard not to laugh at her because I know she'll be embarrassed. Bet if it has a white powder included she'd look like she's taking glucomannan har har I just made sure I took a photo to show her dad before I wiped it all away.

My daughter has two korean classmates and I thought her this word which could mean either hello or goodbye. I'm not eager to teach her Sarang hae yet ;) I'm sure she'll learn that one by herself in time :D

Anyways, it's been a week since Dani's haircut. I figured she can get away with some curly bangs. I trimmed her hair also, twas easy peasy. I meant to make a detailed post about it later :D

Work in my dreams

Inside a room with a big flat screen. Minnie and I abruptly stopped giggling when Sir Jun turned around and gave us his look. I loaded some mp3s in my pc forgetting to jack my headset. Taranta as Sir JTL might hear blaring sounds from my speakers. Minnie laughing. She played an animated movie on the big screen with even louder sounds drowning mine. Minnie winked mischievously.

Mich and I went to another room, waiting.. waiting. But i feel a bubble of gas escaping from down under and i cannot excuse myself as she's still talking about something.

Also something about Juday practicing her dance with Coco having an issue about it :p Maybe it's a practical thing to do to complement her herbal diet supplements.

WLW: My fave spot in the house

This is where I would most often spend my Me time :D We have quite a dainty house so I can only get so much space for myself not to mention within a particular time frame. Like in the case now when everybody's dreaming the night away. Sometimes I even sleep and dream here, intentionally or otherwise. Luckily, I dont get neck acne, hubby makes sure it's clean enough.

Here is where I sit and play Elebits as my daughter watch and cheer for me. We can convert this area into a mini playground complete with slide and a clubhouse. Guests are modest enough to sit even if they sink immediately after. A lot of hugs and kisses were shared here, fond memories I'll collect as years go by.

This is my favorite spot in the house.

Dani has 8 writing sheets to do over the weekend and we've manage to finish half of them before bedtime. I got her report card from school and teacher told me she's bright indeed but needs to practice writing more. Understandably she's still too young, teacher is just telling me that for now writing her nickname will do. However, for next year they will be writing their fullname already. Imagine she'll be writing 24 letters *sigh*

I have a short name, I can even afford to write my middle name, but I do pity my child. It's either I give her a super unique hard to pronounce name or give her two first name. Pretty, if someday you read this, I'm sorry for giving you a hard time writing your name.

Anyway, Baby bear made quite a contribution in Dani's assignment. She made it more fun for Dani as she's supposed to learn writing from her and the little one was more than glad to do so. Obviously this teddy wouldn't be needing the best hair loss treatment, he is as fuzzy as we want him to be :D

Maybe this halloween I'll get her an equestrian apparel and a paper mache horse, that'd be neat! :D Dad and daughter are sleeping so I get to blog and play a little. In a few minutes I might have to wake them up as both have been sleeping for almost 2 hours already.

I see some bloggers have posted their holiday kwentos already. Planning to have mine out tonight. Husband is going to do overnight work at the office so I guess I'm not going to bed early tonight.

I'm guessing tomorrow, workload at the office will start to pickup as people have already dusted off their holiday sparkles on their shoulders. How's your January so far?

Received an SMS from tekeng, telling me they're having a one day concert here on Feb 27. Please don't laugh at me, but I really want to see them perform live. TBH, I'm quite sad that Kevin left the group but it's true, I don't think its appropriate for group to find a replacement for him. It just won't be the same BSB anymore.

In any case, funds willing, it's going to be a date with me and tekeng. I need to update myself with their new albums though. I've might have been listening to BOF OST long enough for me to learn how to speak korean *exagg* :p

I hope none of the boys wont be needing a pleasanton motorcycle accident attorney anytime soon.

Natural Water Park Thriller

I was walking with A towards a small grassy hill and saw nerdy B trying out his new bouncy invention, not the next fitness equipment anyway. It looked like a big top covered with soft flowers springing up and down as he go. A wanted to try it out and boarded the thing. Seems like it wasn't made for two persons and they both landed on the river, including me!

A's sister was already in the water prior to our mishap. At first I was hesitant to swim around. Countless use of "artificial" water in pool does that to you. This river on the other hand if very much alive it scares me. However as I float to the other end, I felt one with the stream.

I was partly trying to impress A and splashed towards the shallow part until I came across a structure forming a slide. The whole area must have been a natural water park. I climbed the stairs and went inside a big tunnel. The floor resembles waves giving the slider a gentle bump. It started getting dimmer, the water murkier, it must have been ages since someone used the tube.

I saw a man, with bared torso and board shorts, walking ahead of me and foolishly followed him. I lost sight of him and saw the way being blocked. I ran back, scared and trying hard to calm myself. I slipped and slided gaining speed, afraid I'll crash on the wall. With not enough water, I lost momentum and stopped. I sensed someone in front of me and saw him.

It's just the guard on duty doing his rounds.

Whew!

I finished the korean version just this morning. I still like Meteor Garden better :D I was looking at Kim Hyun Joong the whole time. His character resembles my ideal man har har music palang feeling connect na ko ;)

There are shots when he reminds me of Shaider's opponents specially when his face is too white and his lips too red :p Other times he's just too pretty ;) I wish I could find a photo of him from one of the scenes when his hair was pulled back and he's wearing which seems to be reading glasses.

Haven't seen the tagalized version yet and not planning to see this one again ;) Just needed to blog about it and focus on my workload *sigh*

though my memory lacks details as to why, during our earlier years I can still remember hating these two and feel envious of their bond which made me feel.. left out. it made me desperately wish for a sister who can take my side whenever they team up against me. wish granted, i got a baby sister but now its two versus me versus tekeng and that deserves another post (kidding sis).
