Nanay happily tagged along with my parents from Batangas to our house. Within minutes from stepping inside from the day's heat, Nanay's tears began to flow. She said since her Apos are too busy to see her she came and visited us instead. It saddens my heart really, I wished to see them often. I barely get to see my parents, it's a good thing they're still up to the long drive to and fro manila just so they can hug and kiss the little girl.
I miss Mamay also, I wish to visit him soon. I bet it's like getting the best
fathers day gifts 2011 for dad. We didn't get to talk to him longer last time I called, I'm pushing back negative vibes, maybe he's just not in a mood for chitchat that time.
Back to happy thoughts. I cooked us tempura and kariagi/e along with this dish. Wish I had some miso and soft tofu in a warm soup for our tummy. They said, I did well, himnaeyo!
