Behind the Wheel

Maybe I should stick to riding a bike instead, that or upgrade to A/T car. As preventive measure to spread of dengue-mosquitoes, our homeowners association has taken pains in fumigating and grass cutting around our village.

The other day, our neighbor's car had it's side window broken, prolly a pebble hit it during grass cutting nearby. This morning, the staff asked me if we could move our car somewhere so as not to suffer the same fate.

Imagine my dilemma, no hubby to move the car. I bravely fetched the key, switched on the engine, changed to reverse, pushed down the hand break. Guess what happened next? I chickened out, slammed on the brakes, returned to neutral, pull up the hand break and turned off the engine. Even when it is expected as our street goes downhill, once the car started moving forward I got scared I might crash the car straight towards the creek.

In the end, I asked our neighbor to move the car for me. So, there goes my plan for my Non-Pro Driver's License.
