Kidnapping Alert

I've read Irmee's concern on kidnappings I myself have been hearing a lot about recently. Mothers in our carpool have been talking about it since last week. Apparently a kid (maybe about 7yo) from the school in our area has gone missing. Brings back the memory of Satanistas of my time. Hubby already mentioned it to yaya sel and told her to be cautious of strangers lurking about. I can see that she's also aware of it already. Anyways, even if our village security is in high alert, you'll never know, baka may makalusot pa rin. Makes me realize that Cavite is no different from Manila. Crimes can happen anywhere. Have any of you heard or personally know about such kidnapping case where the child end up dead because her organs were taken and sold to the black market?

The stork will be busy this year

Almost everybody is either on the way or trying to be pregnant. My brother texted me an oops message yesterday :D just when I thought they'd wait for another year. God really has another plan for them pala talaga :) A couple of N@Wies are also expecting already. Yesterday, minnie and I met with J&J with little J, and they casually mentioned that now that dani's almost turning two, that maybe it's time for a second baby. If you'll ask me two years ago, I would have agreed. However, the more I think about it, I am perfectly happy with just one. For now, indeed I am, forever.. hmm.. we'll see. I thought it's just a matter of financial readiness but it's more than that. What I do know is that the time i'm spending with my child is not enough and I would love to cherish every moment every chance I'd get. Also, not forgetting the time for myself and for hubby :) Yes, I'm feeling a little bit of pressure, and I maybe convicing myself here a little bit, it does help to know and revisit one's goals and priorities para naman I wont turn green with envy :)

To all fathers and mothers-to-be, I am so happy for you guys but please stop poking me and asking me when's my turn ok?! :D When its time, its time :) Indeed, the stork will be busy this year and the next, but not in my turf.

Movie Date: Vantage Point

Sa wakas we were able to use hubby's free movie tickets last night. Expiration date na kasi nya kahapon, so I made sure I exchange the passes with tickets for the movie Vantage Point during yesterday's lunch time. The flick started at 6:30pm, with a beefy mushroom jamaican patty and iced tea in hand, we settled ourselves and watched. I became somewhat restless nung medyo nagre-rewind na ulit yung movie to show another point of view pero overall the movie was ok naman. I was on the edge of my seat at times and find myself clutching hubby's arm tightly than the norm hehe I couldn't really say if it was more worthwhile watching than 10,000 B.C. which was one of the movies I was opting to watch sana. Pero ok na din, kahit matanda na si Dennis Quaid, pogi pa rin naman sya :D but its something I wouldn't really buy a ticket for and wait for the debedee release instead :D Thanks hubby for the movie date :) more, more!
