Bonding

August seems to be a bonding month for my Dani and her cousins. Hubby's brother just came back for three months vacation and off he'll go aboard the ship soon after. So one weekend was spend catching up with the in-laws. She had a fever then but it didn't spoil her mood and happily played with her cousins. Last week naman, my parents willingly drove me home and picked up my SIL and the two boys on the way. They spent the afternoon painting and hiding inside dani's tent :) Some moments are happily captured in my sd card I've yet to transfer.

Remember that I miss my little tadpole already. Two weeks ago, we were blessed with a sunny weather, so we soaked ourselves until about lunch time. We didn't pack any substantial food so we've no choice but to go home.

Haven't received any new wedding invitations so far. M and I will attend one in Tagaytay next week. I rummaged through my sister's closet to find something decent to wear on the said occasion. The tricky part is how we're going to commute from work and still arrive fairly fresh.

We went to Dani's school to watch her with her classmates dance to "Itik Itik". Teacher Chona wasn't expecting her to dance that day. About two days prior the event, dani came to us and said, she didn't do well in school. She doesn't have a star because she did not dance. She told me she didn't like the dance. I honestly don't know what to say to that, I just said, it's ok.

Parents were asked to bring some Filipino food along and we ate lunch fiesta style. We were supposed to go malling afterwards but Dani tripped, fell and had a big booboo on her left knee. Do you think motorhome insurance cover such accidents?
We headed home instead, she fell asleep with tears on her cheeks. Kawawa naman. She said she couldn't walk because her booboo hurts. We had to carry her almost everywhere for two days. I put betadine whenever she's asleep to make it heal faster. Ok naman na sya, so far.

R graciously lent me her Eat, Pray and Love book. Gone through the first few pages, definitely not a page turner but I like books as such, I can put it down and few days later I can quickly pickup where I stopped. Hmm.. which reminds me to update my GoodReads list :D

Watchmen is haunting me. I skimmed though some of Australia's scene and I've got to remind myself to get the OST. Got myself a copy of M.Buble's meets Madison concert, I've yet to watch. Have you seen GNR's Rock in Rio 1992 concert? I keep wondering if Axel was wearing undies under those white tights. He sure has a well-defined tushy :D

Looking at the click, I still have about two more hours of Me time and I'm starting to panic,

Tomorrow (I mean later today), if Mr. Sun'll cooperate, we shall conquer the blue waters of our clubhouse's pool hehe. I've yet to pluck my underarm hair follicles and shave my cellulite infested legs, so here's a good morning hug to you guys. I salute you for getting this far.

Nah. As a matter of fact, I've been quite lazy. I keep waking up at 3AM, not by choice as Dani wants her milk at such an ungodly hour. Most of the times I'll fall back asleep effortlessly, other times, I'm here or elsewhere. Might be watching one or two episodes of House MD or a flick I've been wanting to watch until I hit the shower and rush off to work.

Mothers, if you have a pre-K like me and you want some edutainment for you child, get yourself a copy of Super Why. I downloaded few episodes in Japanese hehe but I've two in English, the Cinderella and Three Little Pigs episode. Zach and Dani digs it :D

I am getting more and more concerned about my finances as August is nearing its end, Ber months begin, expenses will definitely increase. I haven't done any online window shopping lately for it breaks my heart not to be able to buy stuffs that are sale. I dread going to malls as they never seem to put the On Sale sign down. I know, its a matter of self-control, which I possess rather less that I would have wanted (or needed).

I've already shortlisted some places we could stay for our Boracay trip on October. I figured we could stay in Station 1 and we could just hang out at I+M's place should we get bored. I figured since it'll be their first, they would stay where the party is at (Station 2). Pool is a must as I'm unsure how Dani will react to sand and the beach this time around. I wish we could drag one of her cousins along so she'll have a playmate. Hopefully, Caticlan airport is up and runny by then as I didn't take the early flight. Taking fat burners wont help me prep for the said trip, sad. It's ok, I might end up behind the shutter anyway.

As my two masters are snoozing the heat away from this lazy saturday afternoon, this isn't more an opportune time for me to update this blog. Was able to upload the wedding photos I took last week. Still waiting for Te Keng and Bro's shots though.

Its half of August already, I haven't taken photos of the little imp yet. I'm still "healthy" as a horse and overweight as a pregnant boar, hubby holds grazing for greener pastures for the meantime. Dani just finished her first quarter exams, I'm betting she did good just like in her previous long test (and it's not like she's on medical assistant training school). We've been practicing with mazes and scissors lately :) Note to self, would love to take photo of our session sometime.

Uh-oh, one master is awake, pardon me but I must go, for now.
