Read my mind
Originally uploaded by ..nina.. [back again, but still busy]

Hubby already found out what happened to the Zen. I'm using his Nano since I lost it in our Coron trip. I was relieved to see it inside my bag this morning. I thought I left it at home. I'm waiting till it's declared officially mine before I buy a new case for it ;) Also, I think I'll be needing new earphones na rin. Geez, hopefully I wont be needing best acne treatment as gift :D

Irreplaceable

I woke up at 2AM and went online while selecting mp3s to burn to listen for our daily commute (not so fond of radio ads). Have you heard Chris Brown's version of Irreplaceable? Aliw lang haha.

Hmm.. parang pang plurk to pero nagtatago ako dun eh ;)

Perfect Timing

Geez, blogger is down, just when I got inspired to write something. Anyways, I feel great today. A bit pre-PMSy mood but better than yesterday. I was able to do a short run this morning, showered with Juno, ate longaniza and egg for breakfast, a good start. Plus, I read spoilers of Breaking Dawn from Toni's blog, it's as if I've read it already so less pressure to get a copy. Can I also add that I'm listening to Jason's I'm yours :)

I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait, I'm sure
There's no need to complicate
Our time is short
This is our fate, I'm yours

Have a nice day y'all! :)

sis: no acne, no worries ;) hehe

Playlist: Slow Rock Favorites 80's-90's

Love Kilig Songs
Styx: Babe
Warrant: Heaven
Journey: Faithfully
Survivor: The Search is Over
Toto: Two Hearts
Reo Speedwagon: Keep on Lovin You
SkidRow: I Remember You
Cheap Trick: The Flame
Firehouse: Love of a Lifetime
Bad English: When I See You Smile
Jon Bon Jovi: I'll Be There For You
Bryan Adams: Heaven

Not in the mushy category
Poison: Every Rose Has Its Thorn
Cinderella: Heartbreak Station
Eagles: Wasted Time
Guns N' Roses: November Rain
Savatage: All That I Bleed

I'm lovin YouTube right now, though I've listen to these songs countless times, it was only now that I was able to see most of the videos. The only band I was ever able to watch live was Survivor@Kampo way back..err.. late 90s.

By the way, I love Bon Jovi in one of his err not-so-recent song plus his err not-so-new haircut in Thank You For Loving Me.

* * *

Thanks to Mama Mee, I was able to watch snippets of Journey's Chile Tour. Syempre sinearch ko agad ang Faithfully. Coulnd't really say I liked his adlibs pero I understand he'd like to put his own version out there. From the looks of it, I'm glad the audience accepted Arnel Pineda with Open Arms hihi

Eva soothes me

The Eva Cassidy, I mean :D Somewhere between changing pcs and players I lost her music. Today I found her again and instantly relaxed as I listen to her rendition of "Over the Rainbow" and "Fields of Gold". Which reminds me to grab some Norah Jones (to break the monotony hihi).

Also, thanks to limewire, I can now add some Braveheart OST tracks in my list :) Listening to "The Secret Wedding" gave me goosebumps haay, I'd love to watch that movie again soon.

Evening

Just finished Claire Danes' "Evening" and yes admittedly there were some waterworks every now and then. Though it will not be included in my must-see again list, here's something I got out of it:

on parenting:
no matter what we do, whether we work or stay at home, we will still make mistakes. some mistakes they (our children) will instantly forget or still talk about even when we're already on our death bed.
good point when considering being a SAHM.

daughter to mother:
sometimes i hate you when you wear that dress because it means you're going to work.
makes me wonder what dani thinks whenever she see's me wearing my office uniform.

new lullaby song:
I See The Moon (Greg Brown)

I see the moon and the moon sees me
and the moon sees the one that I long to see.
So God bless the moon and God bless me
and God bless the one that I long to see.
I was able to grab Jim Brickman's version, an instant fave :D
Stargazers in YouTube

I am currently checking the thread to see what stuffs I missed or just to see the other viewers reaction to the said movie :D if you want heavy drama, great cinematography and love stories without the usual proper happy ending then go ahead, see this movie ;) Personally, I'm just glad for the characters as each had their own closure :)

Human Jukebox

When I was in grade school we lived in an apartment across an eatery that's open for 24hrs. At night their jukebox will often play 80's song like "Lost in your eyes" by Debbie Gibson or "Eternal Flame" by Bangles. I even tried picking a song once and remembered how nervous I was and might not be able to choose the song I wanted.

Here's a random list of songs and the people who spring into my mind the moment I hear them.

A01 - Once in a Lifetime - Bards and Joy
B02 - I don't have the heart : Peobo Bryson (?) - a summer crush in my teens.
C03 - The Gift : Jim Brickman - Kers and Jona
D04 - Angelina : PSY - Faithy
E05 - I've been waiting for you : Faithy & Jasmin
F06 - I'll be there for you : Bon Jovi - Te Jops and ex (forgot the name)
G07 - I Think We're Alone Now : Tiffany - Mark, grade 6 summer crush.
H08 - Next in Line - Minnie's Father
I09 - For my love will see me through - Dad
J10 - Pocahontas Theme - Mami, reason behind this one's funny hehe
K11 - My Girl : The Temptations - Dani
L12 - Leader of the Band - Garry
M13 - The Octopus Garden - Keng & Vince
N14 - Sleepwalk (Instrumental) - Keng
O15 - Two Occassions - Bane
P16 - Stay The Same - Keds

* * *

I can't believe I came up with such a short list. I swear every time I hear a familiar song, there's always something there in my memory bank to associate it with. Maybe I'm too distracted right now. I'll keep this in my side bar and add more as I go along.

Ultimate Hearthrob of the 80's

Well at least for me, my vote goes to --> Thomas Alden Page I was just scanning my site's recent referrers and saw someone googled the keywords, Tommy Page and Marriage and something just sparked inside me. Lalo na nung nakita ko ulit yung photos nya. Haay.. he was rumored to be gay or minsan may nagco-comment na mukha syang bading but nonetheless, crush ko talaga sya :D sama mo pa yung talent nya to write songs and actually sing them..

note ko na lang din dito ung tv series dati na "Party of Five" where Jennifer Love Hewitt was discovered. Crush ko dun yung kuya nila and of course Jeremy London :D Add mo pa si Jamie Walters, forgot the name of his "band" and tv series pero sya kumanta ng Hold on chka ung group nila kumanta ng "How do you talk to an angel".. i remember na.. The Heights.

Pwede sama ko na rin dito si Robbie Williams hehe, delicious uber.. in my greatest immitation of dani's.. "yummy!" hehe
