yey, I managed to scrap :D Photos were taken last saturday when we paid a visit to the playground to get messy with sand :D
Nga pala, we managed to visit two schools we were planning for Dani to study come enrollment. Hesitantly, we dropped by St. Paul's College inside Caribe, Dasma. No Admission/Guidance staff as it was late in the afternoon already. Manong guard was kind enough to give us a leaflet listing requirements for prospective enrollees. I like the school, it doesn't look too big or scary. The thing is, according to their leaflet, they require nursery students to be at least 4 years old. Would have to clarify though and will call them soon.
Next stop was St. Peter, a few miles away. This time, hubby was the only one who stepped out of the car. A few minutes later, he came back with a flyer similarly stating the requirements for admission. This time, they allow 3 year-old toddler for Nursery. I heard that they have digicams (not the hidden spy camera kind) installed in classrooms to monitor activities.
Planning to give them a call this week and set schedule for Dani's assessment. Wish us luck!
Last Saturday, we set up Dani's small pool for her and L to enjoy. Remember I was looking for swimming lessons for the little girl? Someone's offering 12 sessions for only P2.5k. Not sure what's the size of the class but lessons are held either in Phase 1 pool or our clubhouse's pool (which is nearer to our house) :D We have morning schedule every Tues, Thurs and Saturdays, which hubby and I will make sure we wont miss. Starts on Apr 14, contemplating on moving my leaves so I can attend the first three sessions. I'm sure my memory cards will be filled with photos in no time :D
Sleeping early and finishing The Neverending Story, explains the lack of updates here. I've been trying to spend more time with the little imp and less time online. Saturday mornings are spent at thjavascript:void(0)e playground, photos are uploaded in flickr.
I have tasks from the sheriff to finish, I'd better since we have lots of expenses coming up. No European cruises, just home stuffs though.
The Incestuous Sisters, originally priced at P599, bought for only P300
The Venetian's Wife, originally priced at P499, got it for P100
Robert Jordan's New Spring (P195) and Book One of WOT series (P95)
The Tavern on Maple Street, originally priced at P829, got it for only P50!
Second hand books I bought Thursday afternoon at Booksale MOA:
Peek-a-WHO by Nina Laden for only P15
Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown for only P40
These books will go to baby gabe and kuya zach, next time we see them :D
Nothing about Mesothelioma though. Now these are books for less :D
After calling O at her place for the Nth time, finally spoke to her to finalize our date friday night. Took the day off as I was expecting to spend it with her up in Tagaytay of something. I was all set and ready as early as 7am. I was hoping to leave the house before dani wakes up. Turns out she hadn't had sleep yet so we'll just meet around 6ish later and opted to visit a comedy bar instead. Despite planning an overnight, I've no luggage in tow and left the house with Dani crying behind me.
Upon seeing me, she enthusiastically shoved me a wrapped box containing this beautiful capiz hanging light. She asked me if I wanted to have a massage first and so off we went to a spa near her place. We were pressed for time so we didnt push thru with watching a movie. I enjoyed the massage and so off we went to Sitcom Comedy Bar. We had pizza and virgin drinks, soon we were laughing already. Their pizza sauce was too sweet for me but the crust and ingredients was better than greenwich's. I tried their mocha mint cocktail, too sweet not enough "mocha" and tasted like cough syrup, which I think was due to too much mint syrup added.
