Palawan Day 1 – Lunch at Bilao’t Palayok

I have to leave my camera at the hotel, nadrain kasi yung battery so nagcharge muna ako. So no pictures here. The place was oozing with smell of floor wax, quite a turn off really. I was bent on eating here for I’ve read a review that their food tastes better than Ka Lui, though the latter just have a better ambiance. Despite the smell, I took a seat and picked one of their budget meals consisting of chicken inasal, java rice and atsara for only P59 and settled for a green mango shake priced at P40. Meanwhile, hubby ordered sinigang na hipon served in a continuously heated palayok. First bite of my inasal, I imagined this is what the original tastes like in bacolod and I must’ve teleported there somehow hehe hubby naman was satisfied with his order, the shrimp’s meat kinda semi-sweet with it’s freshness contrasting to the sourness of the soup. Syempre, nakitikim ako ng Strawberry Shake nya and made a mental note to order it next time.

So I got these pics from minnie's cam :D

The infamous chix inasal, my favorite :D

Sinigang na Hipon, forgot the price but about P100+

Hi, Kitts. once in a blue moon lang ako magbloghopping and I'm glad to found your Palawan issue. Kwento ka pa. Did you go to St. Paul Subterranean? Where is Liberty Pension? How much per night?
