Still here at the office. Went back after my training. I didn't know it was moved again for today. Pumasok ako kasi nga may problem sa data pero got a text from a colleage na nasa training nga daw sila at bakit wala pa ko.
Hindi nman pwedeng iwan ko ang training at sayang naman binayad namin sa knila. Kaso pitfall is eto I have to wait until all data processing and batch jobs are done para maverify ko yung data. After this naman we're looking at generous bonus next year kasi daming production namin ngayon because of the P1 Equity Fund offer.
Hope we'll be done by 1AM and off I am to my mom's house to rest then report for training tomorrow. Haay..

Totally inspired
* * *
So i've been trying to scrap today after browsing new digi LO's online. I managed to download some new kits but mostly used old ones I haven't used yet. I'm trying to keep it simple so I can have a couple done and maybe retouch on them later if I feel I need to embelish them more :D
there hasn't been any opps for today not a single one :( plus, internet is going loco maybe due to weather. got a call earlier, i might report to work tomorrow, gesh. pray i don't have to, hirap kaya pumasok from nova eh wala namang work si hubby alangan namang pahatid pa ko :p it would have been sweet kung hatid nya ko diba, pogi points the effort pero naman mahal ang gas so just trying to be practical here hehe
My Bedmates
* * *
We've been co-sleeping with Dani since the day she was born. Well, except pala for her first night at the nursery pero other than that she sleeps with us among her friends :D sometimes when she wakes up at the right side of the bed, she'll hug and kiss each one greeting them good morning, a sign of a great day ahead :D

I love WiFi
Earlier this morning, we packed our things and here we are, balik Nova until next week. My in-laws warm-heartedly welcomed us, as always. They truly missed Dani, specially her ate gerah. It has been over a month, i think since we last saw them so I guess it's high time for a visit.
One more thing I love about staying here, other than the fact that we have more pair of hands to help with dani, is that i have free internet access 24x7! Yebah! Still, I have to wait til kulit is busy with something else kasi talagang hanap nya ko palagi. She's asleep now, kaya eto nakasimple, trying to catch up with unread feeds and tags yet to be answered. Of course, waiting for opps so I can make more moolah. I've been cooking up some travel plans for next year so I really need to earn more green hehe I had the nerve to share some with hubby the other night and got his approval, yey!
Some updates on my little girl, her left upper tooth is starting to show so maybe it's partly the reason why she's not feeling well. Garry and I had to take a leave yesterday kasi nilagnat na naman si Dani that morning and brought her to the doctor. Sayang nga kasi I was planning to bring her to our company's Trick or Treat party that afternoon. I've heard it was fun though my team didn't win the deco contest. We had an "Angels and Demons" theme. I guess they didn't feel heavenly as they were supposed to mwhehe

Mismatched Cufflinks
Like in most schools, I am required to wear our uniform. I remember when I was in highschool, we have this white long sleeve inner shirt and a navy blue jumpskirt as uniform. In order to display some sort of individuality with the others, I have these cutecufflinks which my mom usually bought from garage sales, some of which has designs in butterflies or flowers. As always, I would lose one of the pair and would have to wear two different designs at a time. It doesn’t matter to me though, I still find them perfectly mismatched and cool at the time.

Remortgage
Problems with mortgages or Remortgages? We are now facing a house mortgage with a payment period of 15 years. Isn’t this too long? The interest rate is kind of high that’s why we took the longer term. The rate will change after 5 years depending on the economy of the country and we are thinking of getting another bank that has a much lower interest rate.
We would really want a remortgage that has a fixed rate and will lasts for 10 years. With this special term we will not be worrying if the interest rate will fluctuate and will be much secured on our part.

Question Tag
Mari asked:
What is your most expensive purchase with your own money?
hmm.. really can't remember coz it has been awhile since i made quite a large purchase for myself. lately if i see the tag more than P300, i rarely buy it :D however, there is this Rockport sandals i bought at a discounted price of P2.3K so that's the latest expensive stuff i can recall ;)
also now that i'm married, i consider my money as "our" money so i don't know if the Nikon D40 I bought counts or does the question have to be a purchase for myself with my own money? mwehehe labo ba gwen, i'm over analyzing your Q ;)
Toni asked:
What gift do you want your hubby to give you this Christmas?
hmm.. a couple's massage will do just nicely :D perhaps one in nurture spa :D

Yes, I think all moms are cool in their own special way. So guys, here's to us!
Secure your investment
Most probably after the Glorietta 2 explosion some of the entrepreneurs are considering getting a Cheap Commercial Van Insurance. Autonet has a catchy tagline: find a cheaper quote and you can have a complete refund! Consider the cheap price a bonus, what’s really important is protecting your vehicle investment may it be a truck or van or even a bike. One can easily get an online quote in their website and purchase later if you want to take the offer. To help you with your decision making, you might want to read some of their customer’s testimonials and decide for yourself. If you have further questions you can call them or request a call back and an agent will get in touch with you immediately.
My Wish for You
* * *
As promised, here's the layout i did the other night :D i was supposed to put a different message like:
my skin may not be soft nor my nails perfectly manicured but this hand will always be there to hold yours for now and always.
maybe i'll try another layout next time :D
about the photo: i was playing around with dani's nails trying to put some polish on them but she resisted even if i showed her while i put some in mine. ayaw talaga.. senyales ba ito na hindi sya talaga makikay? :D
Wild Fire
Many of the residents and including Hollywood stars who are affected by the wild fire in California are probably considering to relocate somewhere else. Most of them have evacuated in San Diego County and maybe some of them are already inquiring on Arizona real estate or on any other state other than California. If I were them, I would have done the same.

An option for a corporate slave
Sometimes I volunteer designingkids party invitations, tags, tarpaulin, or guestbook layouts for some of my friends’ children parties. There’s just something about a babies faces that makes it easier for me to be inspired and come up with modest layouts. Maybe it’ll be an option for me to offer my services for a minimal fee once I’ve had enough of corporate life. I will still do it for my friends for free though :D We’ll see.
Dirty by the Dozen
Got this question tag from Abie:
How many kids do you plan to have?
Hmm.. It would be a riot to have a dozen tots to go home to. One is enough challenge for me for now but we're hoping to have a baby boy next time. If God willing then baby making stops there :D otherwise, we'll see maybe He has other plans for me :D
Thanks Abie! I wonder how many you guys plan to have? :D

A home I can call my own
Four years ago, even before we got married, hubby and I decided we should have a home of our own. Instead of wasting our money on rent and not much cash on hand we opted to apply for several mortgages. We looked for banks who offer fixed rate mortgages. We did get a couple of cheap mortgages options then.
Fortunately, our developer took care most of the paper work and all we need to do is show up to sign the contract. The whole application up to approval was a breeze if only I could say the same with earning money for payments. As I look back, I’m glad we did prioritize purchasing our house first and waiting for another year before we get married. There’s nothing like going home to your own home.

No corners
So I tried circles last night :D I always find it hard what to use as date stamper though. Later ko na naisip, i forgot to "enhance: our pics in the LO, just a little adjustment on curves. Anyways, I did another one pero sobrang antok na ko kagabi kaya nakalimutan ko transfer sa thumb drive. Bukas ulit, i'll have something to show you ;)

These photos were taken, (man i even screwed up on the dates!) last saturday. Garry received a text from one of our kumpare and his mother died (no not because of the bombing) so we dropped by to give our condolences to him and his family. Before we went to the wake, we left Dani and her yaya to my Mom's care. Andun na din kasi si Tita Cristy, one of the best cook in our family, her kakanin are the next best thing to my Apo's. I miss na nga may grandma lalo na pag may special occasions, sarap kasi talaga magluto. So pinagbigyan ako ni tita and she made rice pudding for me! yey! Even though she's tired from the commute (all the way from agusan) she just made lañeras of pudding. I forgot to upload her yummy creation eh, as always bukas ulit.
Tita Baby and Tito Jim, with Tita Aring, decided to visit my mom's house that night also so saya din kasi they get to see my cute little angel. When hubby and I were away, bibong-bibo daw ang baby ko she danced, sang and "talked" a lot pero nung andun na ko haay as expected kapit tuko na sakin. She doesn't want to leave my side na ayaw na sumama kahit kanino.
My current mantra: this too shall pass. I mean, they'll reach that age when they're not that malambing anymore diba so cherish lang din kahit super ngalay na or hirap to attend to your own needs :D oh well.
Before I forget to blog about this: Kers, congrats bro! Kaso itlog ulit mwehehe :D I needed to give away some of dani's baby stuffs and clothes to my cousin na. I sorta pressured my SIL to take the ultrasound para malaman na namin if i'll reserve some of the good girly stuffs for her. So off they went na nga kaso boy ulit eh much to my Dad's delight, dadami na daw kasi lahi nya :D

Ground Zero at Glorietta 2
I was in a nearby net cafe when Minnie YMed me, minutes after an explosion happened in Glorietta. The news did not immediately sinked in because I was busy checking out some opps (go figure) ;p an hour after, when i got home, we turned on the TV and newsflash about the said event was all-over every local channel.
Then it hit me, we were supposed to have lunch that day at Rai Rai Ken, a japanese resto across G2. The lunch date did happen despite my absence, fortunately they were able to finish earlier before the explosion occured. Knowing me, if I did join that lunch, I wouldn't go straight back to office but instead would have done some window shopping afterwards. Children clothes are located on the second floor of the said area. Tsk. Tsk. Buti na lang.
Dani had a fever earlier that morning so hubby and I had to take a leave. She's better now. Must be her gums, well everything that irates her makes us conclude she must be teething but still no teeth would come out hehe

Hope you guys had a nice weekend and here's hoping you'll have a great week ahead!
Bad..bad..bad credit
From a time there I had a bad credit standing. I was able to get rid of debt and attain a good credit. BadCreditOffers is an online site that provides resources where one with similar predicament can get financial assistance as presented with the best offers to fit your needs. Great to have resources such as these which will prove useful despite one’s credit standing.

A little something
Already she's interested in my toys :D a future fotog?! hehe
In the rarest occasion I get to make her smile on cam. Hindi ko pa nga nahuli talaga. Usually makita pa lang nya yung cam ko she'll start whining already, like saying I've had enough mami. Tapos magpapakarga na yun hehe.

I haven't been scrapping latetly kasi puno na yung harddisk ng laptop ni hubby. Natatamad naman ako magburn ng files sa CD tapos purge ko. However, hubby promised me na magi-install na sha extra HD sa desktop PC namin this week. Yey, hopefully next week may mapost na ko :D
* * *
I'm not feeling well since the other way, pero bearable pa naman, talaga lang mabigat ang katawan. Kung after effect to ng bakasyon namin eh kay tagal naman yata masyado. By the way, I already got the negatives of the underwater cam scanned pero I don't it's worth to upload kasi malabo. Hmm.. P550 for the cam tapos P150 for the scan to cd tapos wala palang matinong kuha.. tsk..tsk.. that's what I get for not reseaching or buying a better cam. I did bought a kodak brand pero siguro nga due to poor lighting at wala syang built-in flash kaya poor din ang shots.

I'm on Auto Pilot
Jenee has posted an interesting article on 39 ways to live and not merely exist.
Here are some pointers I got from the said post:
..fall in love with your partner all over again. -- nuff said.
Walk on the beach. -- hey i did that just recently! :D
Savor food. -- now this I am so guilty of, people who know me will attest to that :D
Wake early and greet the day. -- Dani and I say Hi to Mr.Sun most of the time.
Quit your job.. -- hmm, I was thinking about this just this morning because I left the house with a heavy heart, not really looking forward to going to work. But I think I have to stick to it for five years more.
..find the things in life that excite you -- ok, i'll think about this more.
Make your living by doing the thing you love to do. -- again, i saw wedding photos on display at the lobby today, some where "enhanced" thinking maybe i can do that but wishful thinking for now.
Do you sit all day in front of computer, shuffling papers and taking phone calls and chatting on the Internet? Don’t waste your days like this. -- i wouldn't really say that it's a waste, we build friendship online diba? But if that's all we do most of the time then I agree. Life has so much to offer offline.
Turn off the TV...Only plug it back in when you have a DVD of a movie you love. - I don't watch TV that much anymore, I watch DVD series instead.. hehe, same thing pala!
Pull away from Internet... Right now! And go and do something. -- uh-oh, is this a sign, I have to submit a project timeline this morning and I'm only at 10%.

Welcome home
Whenever one of my balikbayan relatives came back home, we’ll be there at the airport to welcome them, pick them up and go straight to where they’ll stay. A lot of chattering and exchange compliments or even tease the other of what has physically changed since then. When I was a child though, I remember eagerly anticipating what’s inside the balikbayan boxes as they were being open by box cutters. I would usually get US Branded clothes and they smell different in a nice way.
Over the years, I wasn’t able to join what we call the welcoming band. However, last thursday night, Tita Baby and Tito Jim arrived from seattle and it has been three years since I last say Tito Jim. Both were our GodParents during our wedding. Good thing I was staying with my mom when I heard the news and got to meet them that night. It’s nice to have you back Tito and Tita. Hope we’ll be seeing each other again before you leave Pinas.

Both were our GodParents during our wedding. Good thing I was staying with my mom when I heard the news and got to meet them that night. It’s nice to have you back Tito and Tita. Hope we’ll be seeing each other again before you leave Pinas.

What makes you blush?
So i've been asked by Nice :D
Hmm.. i don't remember the last time somebody noticed me blushing. So I guess when I feel like blushing it really isn't that obvious. OO na, aaminin ko, maputla talaga ako hehe
Anyways, what really makes me blush is when someone unexpectedly complements me. I'm guilty of contradicting that person and immediately humbling myself by saying, "hindi ah!" everytime I receive such.
As for my question:
What is your favorite christmas song?
Looking forward to your answers: Jane, Alpha, Bang, Gwen and Faye
Sorry guys, I'm so into yultide season right now. Nice, you can answer my Q if you want ;)

Palawan Day 3 - Lunch at Tribu Cafe and Bar
I have to say, this is the most disappointing part of our trip to palawan. Upon arriving at Sabang Port, we decided to pre-order our lunch para pagbalik namin so they can prepare early at kakain na lang kami pagbalik. Daming hindi available sa menu nila, first off they don't have chicken kasi wala pang delivery and same with pork. So we're left with fish and beef. So I ordered fish and chips and beef steak for hubby.
Tribu Cafe and Bar
View from the Resto
Not really sure what this viand is, sauce is ok but man, ang kunat ng karne!
BeefSteak ala Kunat for P175
Can't remember this viand, but same with all the beef, makunat talaga
Too much breadings not enough Fish n' Chips for P150
Hay naku, ala talagang kwenta mga kinain namin dito. Ang kunat ng beef sobra. Tapos I was expect fish fillet diba for my fish & chips pero para syang dinurog na fish meat tpos hinaluan ng breadings, bleh. I have to ask pa for mayo to make my own sauce eh kasi naman ketchup lang binigay sakin dba.. ok lang kung wala nang tartar sauce pero sana naman mayo and ketchup will do diba? hay.. But I did get to taste the beef mami ordered by Irene and Mabs, mas ma-ok naman kesa sa order namin. One serving is good enough for two. Fresh buko is priced at P25 and same with sprite. Rice at P15/pc. One order of viand is also good for sharing na rin.
I felt I've wasted my P405 in this resto. Tsk. No one recommended kasi where to eat in Sabang, most of the travelogues I've read either packed their own lunch or availed of the buffet lunch coupled with the river tour.

Palawan Day 3 - Underground River
We were up by 6AM, ate breakfast and left by 7AM prepared for a long trip to the underground river. We rented a van for P3K. One and a half hour after, we stopped for a break and took some photos.
Rest stop with a view
Sabang Port
By 930AM, we're already at Sabang Port and registered for the said tour. We were advised to buy pasalubong and souveniers later for the boats are available at first come, first serve basis.
We paid P700 per boat for a two way fare. Bale hihintayin ka nila after ng UR Tour pabalik ng sabang port.
Sabang Beach
Boatride to the Cave
It was slightly raining on our way to the cave. Manong said it's a 20min ride pero we got there in 15.
Monkey Trail
We followed a wooden trail, maikli lang din. While walking we can see monkeys and monitor lizard once in a while. We were advised beforehand to hide plastic bags if we have any kasi monkeys associated them for food baka agawin na lang syo.
Mouth of the Cave
Alas, nakita ko na ang bunganga ng kweba :D Excited na ko, we were among the first ones to arrived. Nagmadali talaga kami kasi we heard that tourism students from FEU will also have a tour that day eh ang dami kaya nila. I think mga 200+ and that'll cause traffic inside the cave. Pipila ka talaga. After yet another registration, sumakay na kami ng paddle boat. It can hold up to 6 people excluding the tour guide. Hubby and I decided to get the front seat and he held the lamp most of the time. Fees are P150 for adult, P30 for senior citizen and children.
Inside the Cave
At first you'll smell a wisp of bat urine but it'll disappear once you go deeper into the cave. The air was cool and the whole cave was kind of eerie in a sense :D syempre ang dilim kaya tapos wala kang marinig.
Formation of the Holy Family
We saw lots of stone formation, a giant candle, something like a nativity as seen above, an angel, a dinosour. Also they have various sections of the cave like fruits and vegetables section. Manong pointed out to us vandals made by previous visitors, pero ngayon strict na daw sila kelangan na talaga pangalagaan ang cave.
Inside the Highway
We also went through what they call "highway" kasi isang direchong stretch lang sya, so all manong could do was tell anecdotes, kwento kwento para maaliw mamaya meron na ulit mga formation. Pero mahaba-haba nga din tong highway na to.
Happy naman kami sa trip
Saya din, kakaibang experience. We started the tour around 10AM and went back and it was almost 11AM. Syempre pa looking forward sa lunch diba.

Break a sweat
Friday, instead of spending the holiday with my family, I've attended our company's sportsfest. I even sang the National Anthem, without practice. I'm proud to say I didn't miss a single word but I couldn't say the same about my notes hehe
I didn't get to break a sweat because I'm part of the EWC and we organized everything. If ever, I would love to play volleyball :D I took about 500+ photos for the said event but didn't get much quality shots. I don't blame my cam, it can only do so much if given the right settings. Remind me to review my manual again and find that voucher.
teams are grouped into four teams: blue, red, yellow and green.
Blue team did great in their cheer
And so did the green team
In the end, we are all winners
Here's a wacky shot for you

Friendship
Bestowed upon me is the First Class Friendship Award from my good friend Abie.
It all started when I was in the middle of my wedding preps. I was really impressed with their creativity as she and her hubby conceptualized and executed DIY stuffs and details for their wedding with a very cool and awesome Lord of the Rings Theme. She shared her tips and answered my queries whenever I had one. From there we moved on to N@W and I got to know about her blog, she went to visit mine and in between blog posts and texts we became friends.
If I remember correctly I only saw her thrice pa lang. Once through a W@W EB at Jerry's grill and my hubby recognized her from work. Then in a movie premier with tickets given by W@W and last I saw her was during Dani's birthday and got to see her little bela on action. I look forward to days when we'll see each other again :D Thanks for the award and I'd like to give it back to you as well. You deserved it.
Moreover, I'd like to lift up the following person (in no particular order), who have given me First Class Friendship as well.
Julie, Mhay, Toni, Nice, Irmee, Yvelle, and Apple.
Have a great week ahead! :D

Flying Nut
When I was in grade school, I remember my naughty seatmate throwing green peas or cornik upward hitting our room ceiling fans and would accidentally hit someone. It was his idea of fun among his other practical jokes. Gladly, I was never one of his victims, it's a benefit I get for sharing my assignments with him. I haven’t tried yet searching for his profile in friendster. Maybe one of these days.
The Corporate Ladder
I suppose if our company even has any form of succession planning it will be made available to staff level employees. Although, similarly to my previous company, our organization chart is very transparent. Any change in management, employees are well informed sent out by our Human Resource department from top level down to staff. I’m finding it hard to get a promotion in my current employer because I’m a little vague on the details as to how one gets promoted. As far as I know, one gets a step higher with the discretion of your boss. I like the system of my previous employer, you get a sure promotion every 2 years if you achieve the minimum 2pts every semester review. Oh well, the best that I could do right now is get the job done and hope for the best.

I want to be online
Yes, I want to be online 24hrs/7days, if not for the surge in our electric bill and an additional monthly internet expense on our part. Hubby and I talked about subscribing to a local internet broadband provider so I can do more reading on how to be a good parent, maybe research on, tonneau cover, or basically be able to do anything that would help me with my assignments more effectively. Money will come in by November so for now it’ll have to wait and I will be online 9hrs/5days a week or until my boss approves my internet access at work.

Storage Solutions
Do you have a car garage? Are you the type of person who wants to store different stuffs in your garage? People usually have problems storing car tools such as screw drivers, adjustable range and even kid’s toys like bikes and skate boards.
Personally, we have so many stuffs that we would like to be organize and storage solutions is the answer. Isn’t it nice to have a safer environment especially when you have kids playing around your garage?

Goodbye Dr. Sara
Been doing a bit of spoiler reading on Prison Break. I might be the last to know but having read this thread, makes me feel kind of hmm.. sad for the fish and sara. As always, I was rooting for them to be married in the end and live happily ever after. But she dies.
However, nothing is final until we actually watch the said episode that says she dies. There's still hope :D
* * *
So I just finished reading this and it is confirmed.

The big kid
Whenever I get invitations for kiddie parties, I hardly say no. When asked why, you can quote me, “I’m here for the food.” Besides the fact that I get to eat for free, it a chance for me and my family to have fun. These kind of parties just brings out the kid in me. Also, you get to socialize with co-parents, get updates and share tips and size up each other and give out “best-parent” or “worst-parent” award. Kidding here.

Palawan Day 2 - Dinner at Ka Lui
To make up with the previous not-so relevant Palawan Post. Here's something we ate at Ka Lui. Bukas ko na edit, anjan na si hubby eh ;)

Except for the Lobsters which we ordered separately for P600/kg, all of these for P355, not bad no?! Ganda nga talaga ng ambiance sa Ka Lui, perfect for a dinner date.
By the way, your footware aren't allowed inside but they do have organized boxes where you can leave them safely :D
For posterity

Palawan Day 2 - Honda Bay, Coral Reefs
I swear tomorrow I'll bring the underwater cam for me to share to you our snorkling photos.
Anyways, we didn't go to luli island or starfish island anymore. Our boatmen seemed to be excited about a certain location where they promised will be more worthwile. True enough, I enjoyed seeing tons of corals and school of fish. Promise, I'll update this pag napascan ko na negatives!
wa poise yung first photo, pero bumawi naman ako second, no?! :D
hubby snapped at me, this i think is the only photo na mejo payat ako hihi
Pagod pero ang saya para kang nasa malaking aquarium yun nga lang ang mga corals dito buhay!
This is where our Honday Bay Island Hopping tour ended. Next up will be St. Paul's Unground River Tour.

I am a Postie
As most of you already know, I have been doing blog reviews for two months now. At first I was hesitant and skeptical to sign up because I do not want to "taint" my personal blog. Similar to the debate on photographer purists vs photoshopers but instead of pictures, its about blog content. However, more and more I see paid reviews from my blog friends and got interested.
I was a bit disheartened in the midst of my paid blogging because later did I found out that getting the actual payments is going to be tricky. To every problem, there is a solution and through a friend I was able to cash out my payments and actually spend them as my vacation money in Palawan. Ah, to reap the rewards of my online earning is like a child having a taste of her first candy. So sweet, I just couldn’t get enough and wanted more and some more.
Of course, doing reviews is not all about the money. It enables me to improve my writing skills and really be creative in coming up with a relevant posts. Through the course of it all, I was able to visit great sites and know of products I wasn’t aware of.
With happy news from paypal Philippines, I’m sure a lot of Filipinos will be encouraged register and post blog reviews of their own.
